I have a Polar. I typically burn around 220-260 cals in higher intensity workouts like CVX and The Warrior and maybe 170-200 on things like Yoga or Dynamix. I use the calorie goals from the nutrition guide so my daily goal is 1800. I'm no expert, but I think 1200 is kinda low when you're doing a program like P90X3. This…

Today is Day 19 for me - the dreaded CVX. I like this workout but it just kills me after having done The Challenge the day before. My whole upper body hurts today. It was torture just washing my hands before breakfast!

Yes! This past week I used my pull up bar for the first time for The Challenge. And then was flabbergasted when I looked at the schedule and saw that CVX was next on deck! Pushing that ball up and over my heads with all the soreness from The Challenge was crazy. But I guess that's the point!

That's probably it. I'm not overweight but I am a heavy smoker so my heart rate goes up into the 180's when I work out. I'm always alone so I never try talking, but I keep going until I feel like I can't.

Today is The Warrior for me. Because it's equipment-less I'm going to attempt to do it this evening while the babies play in their baby jail. Otherwise I'll have to wait til they go to bed and I know I'll be tempted to skip it by then.
