Thats a good start. Try to stretch before and after the run. Get a pair of good running shoes. Rest well in between jog/walk days. Hope your legs feel better.

Good that I asked. I got insights into the Shapeups. Since I am looking for running and from most of the reviews said they are not good for running, I am going to drop the idea of buying them. May be in summer if I plan to walk will give it a try. Thank you.

Wow Amazing. I am getting little nervous for my first run. I hope my Shred and BL workouts will give me strength to complete it. I am motivated to do it. I will keep you guys posted after my run at noon. :)

Melody, I found this C25K referencing in this site. It stands for Couch to 5 kilometers run. It is designed for beginners to get started without being dreaded. The pace is set that your body can slowly adjust to the changes. It recommends doing thrice a week. Certainly streches will be a good way to keep body toned. More…
