Go to a store with your old shoes so a professional can look at your stride/strike patterns on the shoe and then they'll ask you to either run around the store or on a treadmill (if they have one there).   • I had a Precor (moved across country and I couldn't take it with me) and I loved it. My reasoning behind buying it was I never saw an "out of order" sign on any of the Precors at my gym and those pieces of equipment got used from 6am to 11pm 7 days a week. Well worth the money.
