There is a huge difference between a quick glance and saying to oneself 'She is putting me to shame i need to get my act together' (i do this every now and then and it motivates me to work harder) and glaring at someone for minutes on end.

Walk, Jog, Run. even if its only around the block at first, start slow and build up, this will help avoid injury. Lunges, crunches and pushups are more of a muscle building/toning exercises, Cardio is about getting the heart rate up.

Keep doing what your doing, just up the calories a little. to tone muscle do light weights and lots of reps, this will help define the muscle, e.g. biceps, do 4 sets starting at 25 reps and drop the weight each set and increase the reps. As both my doctor and trainer told me 'it is simple maths. calories you eat - calories you burn, if you get a negative answer you'll lose weight, if you get a positive answer you'll gain weight. E.g. 3000 - 3500 = -500 (weight loss) Do this again and again and you will drop the weight.:smile:
