I had my Nexplanon taken out in September after having it for almost a year. I was having all the same side effects: weight gain, bad acne, oily hair and skin, etc. My skin started clearing up within the week I got rid of it and my weight has since been steady. Birth control messes with my systems so much that I've taken a…

Don't bother corporate with an issue that can best be solved in-store. You should've asked to speak to the store manager, not just "a manager". By going outside the store management it could take weeks, even months before the issue reaches the store (let alone the associate) and by then that associate has probably offended…

My alarm was set for 7 am every single day for a month. Just like it takes time getting used to new eating habits and actually exercising, it takes time for your body to adjust to a new sleeping schedule. It's going to suck for a few days, but don't get discouraged! It's a lot easier to get up early if you know that you're…

21 No kids Moderate.. I run 4-5 days a week Non-existent Poor boyfriend. I was out of control 2 years ago and now I'm completely content with not having it. Between school, work, workouts, and counting calories my mind just can't get in it!

Consistently going over your caloric intake and macros on top of eating fast food multiple times a week is a recipe for disaster. I was all for the original post, but not after viewing your diary. 1,000 calories for a damn burrito? Cut it in half! That's portion control. Portion control is not eating over 1,000 calories in…

skinnytaste.com is brilliant. I highly recommend the Spicy Black Bean Burgers with Chipotle Mayonnaise (326 calories including bun, avocado, and mayonnaise) or the Chorizo and Egg White Breakfast Burrito (243 calories). YUM!

I gave MY experience with running with bad knees. Not really sure how that's insulting anyone. You can tell me I'm wrong if I was suggesting you go run a half marathon after 4 knee surgeries because "it'll be just fine." My guess is that running after knee surgeries probably isn't the best thing for you. That being said,…

Not saying that at all! If you don't like running, then don't! All we're saying is that it's not "bad" for you like a lot of people think. Personally, I wish less people ran. Then I wouldn't have to wait for a treadmill at the gym ;)

Saying that you'll hurt your knees by running is just an excuse not to run. I started running after I found out that I have arthritis in my knees. Running strengthens your ligaments which then helps stabilize your joints, resulting in stronger knees. If you find that your joints are bothering you after a run, check your…

My favorite soups! So disappointing :( I started pre-logging just to make sure that what I want to eat was within my range. Calorieking.com has been extremely eye opening in seeing just how bad some of my favorite menu items are from various restaurants and fast food places.
