  • I think you are being easy on him calling him a total jerk. The loser isn't worthy of your worry or concern. If I were your BF, I'd set this guy straight and ask him to keep his friendship and comments to himself. Keep up the great work and remember that this deuche bag isn't the person you see in the mirror or wake up…
  • Assuming Real: He is "BN" ... Bad News! He won't change, you won't change him and it will get worse. You need support, not someonw tearing you down. Good Luck! Assuming Trolling: Get a life.
  • Looking great! Curves are sexy. Keep up the great work!
  • I'm In... handsome? I'll let to the imaginations of those who gaze upon me.
  • Adding my perspective... I gained speed through two things. 1. Losing weight (which is probably why you are here, logging calories) 2. Strengthening my core (squats, lunges, crunches, etc.). The combination of those two items and running often did it for me. My current PRs are: 5K - 21:09 (my first was 34:42) Half -…
  • I just saw a post on Facebook from noted runner and coach, Jeff Galloway which reads: " In the summer months don't wear a hat! You lose most of your body heat through the top of your head. Covering the head will cause a quicker internal buildup of heat." So... no hat. Wear sunscreen.
  • Eye Candy... great job!
  • Nicely done! My first 5K (2001) I ran it in about 34 minutes! Wait, ran isn't quite the right word. I was huffing, puffing and caughing up a lung. I was at that point around 216 lbs. and very out of shape. I have since ran 57 5K's, 28 Half Marathons and 21 Marathons plus some other races! Running is a definite boost to my…
  • Congratulations on your amazing transformation!
  • You are getting it done! Great work! Wishing you nothing but the best in reaching your goals!
  • WOW! Congratulations! High 5's!!! I'm so happy for you! Way to Go! All of your hard work and sacrifice have surely paid off. Well Done!
  • I've run a lot over the past 7+ years (28 Half Marathons, 21 Marathons, 57 5K's, etc.). I rarely, if ever, warm up. I start my Garmin and go. If I'm beginning a marathon or half, I'll stretch out a bit, other than that...no. I usually train in the 8 minute per mile (+/-) range.

  • One day at a time my friend. Best of luck to you! The power to transform your life and body lies within you. Do this for you, for your health and for life.
  • Amazing. Congratulations! Your hard work and efforts (and tears) paid off.
  • I finished the Delaware Marathon on Mother's Day in 4:01:37, ((9:06 pace per mile) not my best but a very good effort for the tough course and with the heat of the day. I've got the 1/2 Sauer 1/2 Kraut Marathon coming up next on June 15th in Philadelphia.
