Try using soy or almond milk instead of normal milk, more protein. Also throw some berries in, they are great anti-oxidants and taste great. From what I've heard sea salt is better for you as it is natural, not iodized. Still have to use sparingly however, as it's still sodium which is only good in moderation.

If you get the bars that are high in fibre, it helps to balance out the calorie/fat intake. This is what I was once told by a pharmacist anyways, so I decided I liked that fact.
