I agree, it depends on how sick. You don't want to push yourself to the point where your body doesn't have the energy it needs to heal but you also don't want to make excuses or stop progress. I try and do more at a lower intensity level, for example, go for a long walk rather than run, do squats, and lunges at home as…

I step on the scale and stare at that number until I feel the urge to eat subside. It seems to help trigger the fact that I'm not really hungry at all and it forces me to remember that eating whatever whenever is how I got into this situation. Then I drink an entire water bottle and eat an apple. I feel a lot better about…

I'm in the same situation! It's nearly impossible for my bf to gain weight while I only have to look at a slice of pizza to gain weight. I used to make all the meals in our house. They were always fairly healthy, but usually rather carb heavy (which my body doesn't seem to appreciate), so I would just try and eat less.…

Fruit, all day, everyday, sooo good and really healthy but not in the quantities that I would want to eat it in. Like I would love to devour 3-4 apples, a whole pineapple, a couple pounds of grapes, a couple pears and peaches every day.... *salivating*

I wish you all the best of luck on this journey! :) I have been using MFP since May this year and have lost approximately 10 pounds. I'm 5'3 and currently weigh 110 llbs. My goal right now isn't too lose weight but…

I had been logging everything for several months but found I was going no where. Then I was away for 2 weeks, (no internet - YIKES!) and didn't log anything and lost weight and developed more healthy eating habits. I figured I could continue on this journey without logging my food but I think you are right - I need to see…

I'm 5.3 (barely) and my goal weight is also 105. I'm currently 108. However as I become more toned I don't really care what the scale says.
