You are already a success. You started exercising and watching what you eat. Don't let the scale be the only thing that determines whether you have succeeded or failed. I noticed that my clothes were a bit looser before the scale moved. Look at the big picture.

That same question is always at the back of my mind when I think about my upcoming surgery. But I know myself well enough to know that without surgery I would revert to my old eating habits quickly and gain all the weight back. The surgery gives me the time I need to make healthy food choices and daily exercise habits.

Santa bought me Tony Horton's 10 minute videos. I did the cardio this morning and will be doing yoga stretch this afternoon.

My WLS is in early February and my surgeon is recommending that I have my gall bladder removed during the same procedure because a recent CT scan showed numerous stones already. Has anyone had this done? I would appreciate hearing about it.
