  • i thought it was just me! but yes, this happens all the time. i do generally try to have sugarfree mixers or just soda water, but i used to just put it down to the workout i get from walking around in heels all night and the amount of dancing that occurs! haha
  • Is it definitely hard to calculate calories burnt based on those kind of equations. Not only does your weight play a part in how many calories you burn per hour doing an activity, but also your fitness levels, etc. I use a heart rate monitor to keep track of my calories and when I first did level 1 of the 30 day shred I…
  • Well done! Taking your mind off it is usually the best thing to do and something as simple as coming online and even typing that up would've taken your mind off it. (And after I go online, I usually then get distracted by other things like tumblr, facebook and youtube that I forgot that I felt like eating something bad…

  • Yes! Only because I want to keep my streak going! Haha. But I don't care if I'm 5000 calories over (I hope I'm not, but you know, it's Christmas)
  • I'm totally with you here! Sometimes I burn 1000+ calories at the gym and I don't know how to eat an extra 1000 calories. It's like saying hey I worked hard to burn all these calories, now I have to put you all back into my body. Yes, I eat more on the days I exercise, but sometimes I can't get anywhere near my 'NET…
  • I have a Polar FT4 and I love it! I believe it's very accurate because all my stats are considered (gender, age, height. weight) and as my fitness has improved my calories burnt has decreased (which I think is a good thing?) Haha
  • Oh yes, I definitely find that mine is consistent. And when I use the same gym equipment for a while on the same settings, I find that it doesn't tire me out as much anymore and the calories burnt shows. I won't burn as much anymore because I don't get as tired from doing them anymore (hope that made sense). I highly…
  • Ahh, I'm so sorry for posting that reply a million times. I've never used the message boards before. And I don't know how to delete my own posts! Sorry guys!!
  • I have a HRM with a chest strap (I have the Polar FT4). I love it and I assume that it's correct. The HRM generally tells me I've burnt a little more than what the gym equipment does, but the HRM has more information about your stats than what you enter into the gym equipment before you use it. I definitely think getting…
