  • I will borrow a line from "Dear Sugar's" Column #46 Beauty and the Beast : every last one of us can do better than give up. It's up to you to figure out where to go from here. Be well.
  • I did 30DS. It was a good introduction to regular exercise. If you feel you are up to doing more, either increase the weight you are lifting, or walk more. Let yourself get through the 30 DS first. You are probably working harder than you realize, and you don't want to get fatigued.
  • American breakfast Japanese lunch French dinner Scotch as a digestif Train before breakfast, long rambling walks all day in cool weather, looking fabulous.
  • Here is a suggestion. When you want to eat and you recognize that craving as motivated by emotion, come up with an intervening activity before you eat. • I did 6 miles. I took the rail in to work today and walked to and from the station to my office. I also walked to the gym near my office. Feeling great!
  • That is a good suggestion. This is tough because you are trying to make good choices for your health, but she wants something else today. Get yourself some salad greens, make yourself a non-fried taco with healthier fillings, or forego the taco and put the fillings on top of the salad, and eat dinner together.
  • I'm in. I just joined MFP yesterday.
  • It would be helpful if this feature were made available in the exercise tracker. My pedometer tracks steps, miles, and average speed. It's awkward to try to log in this activity with the current exercise tracker.
