Good plan! January 1st is just another date to me. If I said I'll start on January 1st I'd probably eat like hell until that date and then I'd have gained another 5 pounds...lol Good luck! It sure sounds to me like you're motivated...so I don't really think luck will have anything to do with your success! :smile:

I have several MFP friends that I am now friends with on Facebook. I have even met one of my friends in person. He is from the UK...I am from Colorado. We got to be good friends over the course of about a year and a half and we decided to meet in NYC last month. It was a great trip. I was like you...I didn't expect to make…

I totally feel ya on this one! My weight was my barrier against the world...and I pushed people away. It's getting a little easier for me to be a smaller person...but it's a day to day process. I've lost 164 pounds and I have about 80 pounds left to lose. It's really hard to push myself to be a more social person. Right…

Good for you! I've done some pretty extreme things in the past to lose weight...but what's working for me is good old healthier eating and exercise. "Girl on Fire" is my mantra these days too..love it! You can add me as a friend if you'd like...let's get this done!! :smile:
