This year I was glad I was running the 15k because they start at 8:15 vs last year I ran the 5k and that race starts at 7:15 I had to be there like at 6 since I live far from the race event I did not want to be late. it was so cold

Now I have never heard of injuring the IT band during childbirth that is interesting. I will look for a Physical Therapist and go there, I really want to get a nice massage on my IT band before my Half and before it gets worst.

I like the Hal HIgdon training plans, I think the treadmill will work for your short runs. But you may have to get outside for your long runs I know that running on the treadmill is totally different than running outside.

Today will be the last day that I am wearing my running shoes at work (feel like going to buy a pair of different shoes just so that I can take them off), I do not want to wear them out because I am wearing them when I am not supposed to I never really thought about that. I never really thought about wearing them every day and breaking them down. I am going to buy another pair for every day wear since I am not required to wear high heel shoes at work I can wear tennis. Thanks for that tip. Today is going to be the last day I wear them every day.

Carson what a great idea I did not even think about doing a mile warm up and a mile cool down to meet my mileage. I will definitely be doing that on Sunday. Thanks for the detailed information, I never thought about running in the rain with my phone since in the desert we hardly get any rain. But thanks for reminding me of that. I am ready to take my training to another lever therefore the reason I was thinking of getting one.
