I carry my weight in my abdominal region, and do look pregnant. I do not color my hair in the hope that the gray hairs will discourage others from asking me how far along I am..... :blushing: :blushing: :blushing: :blushing:

My oldest was in school (Grade K: 4 - 5 years old) when it happened. The school dealt with it pretty directly, but very sensitively. On the 1 year anniversary, they had a ceremony with all the kids from school outside on the playground. All the kids had small bells and at the time of each plane strike, they rang the bells…

If most of your sugar is from milk, I wouldn't worry, especially if you are not unhappy about the scale or mirror. Really it is the Snickers and DQ Blizzards that cause real chaos.. ;o)

Try increasing your water intake. It sounds like you may be retaining fluids and increasing water will help you flush. Also, I only weigh once a week - not that I am the best model for you - but I found that the daily swings just ticked me off.. Good luck - sounds like you are on the right track...

Hi Stacy, my name is Janie and I also had really bad postpartum depression. My girls are 14 and 11 now, so I have been out of the postpartum depression for a while. A couple of things that worked for me and might help you (with the caveat that I am not a doctor, or psychologist): 1. Stay on the depression meds.. what you…

At most a couple of times a day, and usually to make sure we have the kids covered, or dinner, etc... I'd have to kill him if he called me more than that.. When I work from home, he has this uncanny ability to call me just about 5 minutes after I decide I need to take a nap, and usually when I have just drifted off to…

for boredom, get away from the kitchen or other sources of food, and keep your hands (and rest of body) moving. Even doing puzzles helps me.. just something to occupy the brain and hands. good luck.

The young, cute guys talk to me now - because I give good advice (but I'll take it).... Also, one of the perks of early alzheimer's: you can watch all those really good movies you watched while you were young - for the first time... :o)

It's no fun playing by myself...

Oops, you beat me in... Love the storm trooper - but does he have breast cancer? That is sad... Dammit, I love naked movies with horses... Nice vest, by the way Atti...

BTW, when you are ready to pick up that doll you left deflated in front of my house, let me know... I had to get it out of there before the kids got home...

Love this thread, can I play? You bunch of losers.....

Absolutely, as others have mentioned.. cortisol adds to the big spare tire around my belly. However, the good news is that regular exercise helps with both the stress and the weight loss. You just have to make the time for it - you are totally worth it...
