You sound a little like I was before I started my journey. I just couldn't get motivated to lose weight just for the sake of losing weight. But when my knee started giving me some serious issues I finally decided that I really did want to enjoy my child-free years. That got me moving, started to eat better. But I did learn…

I'm in. I already do a fitness group on facebook but am willing to do another as well. I'm 5'3" down 50lb with another 30-40lbs to go depending on how I feel when I hit my first GW.

Thanks for the inspiration, you look amazing. Hard work has it's rewards when you end up looking as good as you do now.  :flowerforyou:

I'd just mention to him then next time he rides you that if you don't have a break then your body doesn't get a chance to recuperate. And that's a very bad thing as it can lead to injuries. Give him a kiss on the cheek and tell him a kind word goes further then criticism does. But thanks for loving you the way he does.

You bring a tear to my eye. What an amazing lady you are. Congrats on getting your life back.

Employment. Then I can pay for all the other stuff I want.

Lol Can I say -5. Because it's just another day that I get to hang out with my new extended family and have a boatload of fun. I'm here for my physical health and well being not because I wanted to lose weight. That is just the added bonus.

That is the best ever NSV to have. Congrats you have worked hard for this.

I have one cup of high calorie coffee a day. One very large cup of coffee with flavored creamer and milk. I used to have two or three. Now it's just the one. Not giving it up for anything so it has to fit into my calories.

Add me if you're looking for support. My main focus is health and well being. The bonus is weight loss. This means that I don't EVER stress about where my weight is. I'm eating healthier foods most of the time, smaller portions all the time and just enjoying the transformation. I started around 245-50lbs and I'm now under…

You look and sound wonderful. Congrats on your success so far and your continued success in the future.

Awesome. I'll have to try this.

1/ Decent photos of Hubby and I. 2/ Trip back to New Zealand to show off my accomplishments. 3/ A tattoo or two. No need to have clothing as one of the treats as I will need them anyway.

I'm not willing to give up my coffee. I have milk and creamer and really strong coffee. I don't care about the calories. I don't have as many as I used to though. My only concession. My new lifestyle is not about removing my fav foods and beverages, it's all about moderation.

That sounds god.

I make my own pizza and it works out to 415 calories per meal. I know because I weighed all the cheese, meats, peppers, onions, mushrooms, sauce, flour etc. Definitely not greasy, full of flavor and very filling.

Awesome NSV. Great pace too.

If you have a Pinterest account then they have a lot of leg exercises to do. I've been looking at a lot of them lately and adding them to my fitness board.

When I was back in Oregon I volunteered with a group called Gleaners. They collect, harvest, repack and distributed food to the needy. I was able to add some healthy fresh food and diary products to our household every week which made a huge difference. When we had to move unexpectedly and with huge time constraint, I…

I've shed 46 lbs between Jan 8th and Nov 21st. It's probably more than that now but I can't confirm it it I get to a scale.

I have a microwave container that steam vegies, cooks rice, pasta and potatoes. I only used basmati rice as it is healthier than all of the other white rice varieties. It cooks perfect rice every time. And I can use freshly cooked rice in fried rice without it sticking. Best container I have ever had.

Fantastic lady. You are rocking the new lifestyle. Keep up the awesome effort.

Great results for the dedication and hard work. You look fantastic.

I don't own any scales other than in the kitchen. And they are in a storage unit back in Oregon unfortunately. I measure once a month. That's it. I will weigh myself at the doctor's if I'm near by of at a friend's place. But measuring is wear it's at. Nice thing about it is that I don't stress about the number. Slow and…

I guess my 'I've had it" moment happened in Jan of this year when I finally got sick and tired of the way my knee hurt every time I walked up and down the stairs. I walked up looking like a drunk sailor and came down them waddling like a penguin. Yeah sounds funny has hell but on so friggin painful. I want more from my…

Found this thread today as I was looking for the calorie burn achieved while sitting on an exercise ball. Some of the posts made me laugh. Oh how the times have changed. I wanted to know as a have been using one for over a month now. I have never logged it but was curious. It's nice to know that I am burning extra calories…

A picture paints a thousand words and yours shouts success. Simply awesome lady

I'm not on a diet. I started a major lifestyle change back in January of this year that would continue for a long time. Then it will be habit. There are no good and bad foods. Just better choices. Experience has shown me time and again that it is better to feed a small craving then to hold it back until it becomes a binge.…
