Confession: My mother pissed me off last night so instead of going to bed I ate two big bowls of ice cream (and didn't log), knowing full well why I was doing what I was doing. Then I laid in bed being pissed at my mom and being pissed at myself for eating all that ice cream. Now I'm just sleepy.

I'm just curious what religion do you practice? Lent hasn't started yet...Ramadan isn't until June this year...? If your schedule allows, eat and work out during the night and sleep during the day. :)

Have you looked into low sodium salt? Yes, there is such a thing. It uses potassium instead of sodium. Problem is, if you have any sort of heart or kidney condition, it can be dangerous. Also, it doesn't have iodine, which you need in your diet. Check with your doc.…

13 years here and I totally get it. My kids too. They get this smug look of amusement when I'm huffing and puffing. It might totally be in my head, but I ban them from the basement during my workouts.

I've had chronic depression my entire life -- sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse, but it's always there. Similarly, a "beer belly" isn't caused by beer, it's caused by too many calories. Personally I'm not a huge beer fan, but I have a wine belly and a cookie belly and a pie belly.

Simply cut your calories a little -- if you're not losing at 1400, eat 1300. Weigh your food to make sure it's accurate.

The first commercial gym I ever visited (high school? middle school?) had one of those. To think that I'm actually old enough to have seen one of these being used as "exercise equipment" makes me want to cry. LOL
