Hi, started on here a few months ago....losing weight quite slowly so I'm still in the 200s! feel free to add me :)
-
Ideally I would love to be under 200 but that's 36lb away so as long as I'm somewhere near that I'll be happy!
-
Well done, you can really see the difference! I never really believed the eat more to weigh less thing but last week I decided to increase my calories only by 150 a day but I've already seen the difference. Before I only lost 0.2lbs in a week and since increasing my calories around a week ago I've lost nearly 2lbs in a…

This is exactly what I'm like...and the reason I try to avoid cooking with mozzarella as I know if there's any left over from the recipe I'll eat the lot.

Just my family at the moment, and I wish I hadn't told them...if I so much as look at some chocolate or anything unhealthy I get a death stare and told "you're on a diet" so annoying!

Definitely agree with the people saying to go to the supermarket just before they're closing...I went last week to Asda (probably about 2 hours before closing so still chance for it to get cheaper) and managed to pick up weight watchers sandwiches for 20p...obviously there is healthier food but for the price you can't…

I've been cooking them with soy sauce and peppers which hasn't been too bad...going to try something with more flavour next time i get some

If I'm on the computer and have nothing to do then I will go through the forums. I am addicted to tracking my calories and exercise but that's only to help me stay on track, and without MFP I wouldn't have lost any weight as I didn't have the dedication (or a clue how many calories were in some things)

It's in my genes I'm not THAT fat Shops are making clothes smaller

Hi, I'm from Leeds :)
-
My family know, when I lose a bit more weight I'll tell more people but I get worried that the more people that know the more likely I am to fail.
-
I try to weigh myself daily, mainly because I like to see how things affect me such as diet and exercise. If I go over my calories one day and don't exercise it's interesting to see if the scales go up or not. If I do gain it gives me more motivation to work harder for the rest of the week.

I really want to be at or near my goal for my 21st birthday in May 2013 but I won't be disheartened if I don't get there
-
I try to weigh myself everyday just so I don't get any nasty surprises...it also helps me keep on track because if I see a gain one day I can work out more that day
-
Definitely London....I found Paris to be too dirty and full of people coming up to you begging for money

I'm from Leeds/ at uni in London....feel free to add me :)

Might have to give this a try! Got a load of zucchini in that I haven't got a clue what to cook it in and this sounds amazing!

Hi, I'm 20 :) feel free to add me! always looking for more people to help each other :)
-
I am!

My family know about it because I've been eating healthier and exercising so it'd be hard for them not to notice but I haven't told any of my friends. I'm scared of failing and being judged on how fast/slow I'm losing the weight so I'm just going to try for now and when I reach my first goal I might tell my close friends.…

Welcome, I have the same problems as you with boredom eating and portion controls. I've started weighing out food and it was unbelievable how much I was eating before. Add me if you want :)
-
That's what I was hoping too! Hate bumping into people...plus it's a lot cheaper than my uni gym...which is £112 for for months :( So rubbish that it doesn't support NUS! Hopefully they'll let you use your normal one!
-
Have you got "The Gym" near you? That's what I'm planning on signing up to...it's from £10.99 a month depending on where you live but it's a 24 hour one which is the main reason I'm considering it as I'm hoping it would be a lot quieter later on. Also noticed if you have an NUS extra card you don't have to pay the joining…
-
I know exactly what you mean! I'm attempting to lose weight by using my Xbox Kinect, fitness dvds, exercise bike and waking - all without going to the gym. As soon I get below 200lbs I'm going to treat myself to a gym membership :)
-
I think I'm a mixture of the first 3 but probably mainly fun loving....hoping to move onto the other categories some time soon once I get fitter!

Hi, I wanna join this group too :) anyone add me! I'm currently 244lbs and ideally I want to be around 180lbs (or a bit less depending on how I feel once I get there). I'm 20 years old and currently a university student from the UK. For as long as I can remember I have issues with my weight, however over the last 4 or 5…
