  • I haven't been great at logging recently but if you're up for digging back a bit, its there.
  • Great advise above. Yup - we all want to do a Lot more than time allows in life. It does have to be a priority. Wow having a gym at work is fantastic! I tried many things and had to switch to home workouts and now I can't imagine the time to get to a gym. I'm not a "morning person" by nature, but its Up, workout, get ready…
  • Agree with all the above. Diagnosed Celiac in the last 18 months - nope wouldn't want to do it without reason. Now cut back on it, because the more I read, the more I think its not that great for anyone, great, but don't do it as a "lose weight" plan. FYI... I've somehow gained 10 pounds since being gluten free and I Don't…
  • Welcome welcome Glad you have accountability at work and now us!!! Feel free to add. I also like the words, you ARE doing this! My Pounds are not as high but my health was "eeeek" scary and its about on track now! One day at a time.

  • Welcome!!!! you drew the line in the sand. Mean it! keep at it! You will have up's and downs, good days and bad. That's life!!! Remember WHY you want it! Write it down! So you can go back to it on the rough days and remember the passion you feel right now, and keep yourself going. One day at a time!
  • I haven't had this but three friends have. Stalls are normal for everyone, yet you also pointed out not getting in the exercise... there's your stall! And affects your energy. Make sure you're getting the right proteins and calories and everything they tell you.
  • all very normal!!!! The first few weeks we have that Excitement and Motivation and then its not as fun and then the loss slows at week 3-4 and we get frustrated and want to quit. But this is LIFE. If you want all these things for your life, we will have good days and not as good days, and we keep going! One day at a time!
  • Love your living in the NOW... because now is all we truly have and can do anything about. I'm listening to a book on that subject now. Not Keto here, but if its working for you, then great! I started due to cholesterol NOBODY is to write off such a young lady! sorry for the struggles Live for today
  • Welcome Mal! you can do it!!!!! Get that walking in with our Perfect MI weather right now.... before, you know what hits, and its harder! One day at a time!!!!
  • Glad we're all "normal" I generally keep up my workouts but I've struggled with food / portions for sure... and 10 pounds on a girl under 5 foot means pants don't fit. grrrrrrrr Mentally ready for the food portion! I truly just have NOT wanted to cook lately.
  • Welcome, welcome welcome! I check in daily - I always answer private messages. Feel free to add me if you'd like!
  • Eating right. Right portions Moving more. you WILL get results! Not tomorrow. Not necessarily next week, but its a lifestyle. Welcome to changing YOUR LIFE
  • Welcome and congrats on the changes! Sounds like you're really learned your portion controls. Be aware of them. If something "extra" looks wonderful, take a super small amount. Have a bite or two. Enjoy every second of it, and leave it at that. So you're not totally denying yourself and yet not gaining 10 pounds on a trip.
  • LOL - Now I want to learn to do more here! Love it Welcome back. so sorry legs!
  • Welcome! Glad you found us here. Its a great place

  • I have to jump back and read too. I'm 50 and have a 7 and 9 year old. We are a bit more unique for sure. I started this at 45 when my 'good' cholesterol was only 17 (should be at least 40) and I knew I had to change for them. My check last month had me at 62! yay . Now... the darn belly fat has come back again.... so keep…
  • I have to be gluten free, recently diagnosed as celiac, but I'm not 'grain free' if you consider all the other grains. I definitely had a lot of issues due to the undiagnosed celiac and everything it was doing to my body. Were you have certain symptoms that had you go this direction? Maybe you don't need to cut…
  • Keep at it! The first few weeks are fun and exciting and we keep going then the 3 week or 4 week hits and "its not as fun" and "I'm not seeing changes" hits. Its a Lifestyle! You can do it. Its about making plans and sticking with it, even on the not as good days. You can do it!

  • I was 'skinny fat' and didn't totally care. Until a biometrics showed bad cholesterol, I was in my 40's with two little ones. Wake up! I want to be around as long as I can for THEM. I May focus on "looking better" (because you can't track the inside weekly) but really its about overall health and 'aging well'.
  • Welcome!!!! Glad you have found us and are ready to make a change!
  • Hi All, This is a busy group! I think I jumped in once and couldn't keep up and was out. Lets see what I can do now! Today is Day 1 of 21 Day Fix Extreme. I've been "stuck" with weight over the last year -- gained actually -- after a compound of being diagnosed with Celiac and changing up my eating, then hurting my…
