You don't like vegetables on their own... For instance a basic (home made) italian ragu contains Onions, Carrots, Celery and Tomatos as the base ingredients. Get a wise head when cooking your meals and you will easily increase your vegetable intake.

£0 for gym. £0 on supplements I prefer being active outdoors however I do have a good 2-in-1 cross trainer/bike and a set of weights at home for those rainy days... which in England is quite often. I also have a weekly game of badminton for £2

If you've set your HRM up correctly (height, weight, age, etc...) go with that.

^^^ this I usually burn around 240-280 cals in 30 minutes (according to my HRM) yet the machine says around 50 calories more. But yes invest in a HRM.

Life is too short to stress yourself with people who don't even deserve to be an issue in your life. Move on and turn the experience into something to drive you harder and make you more determined to reach your set goals :)

I'm doing a weekly 5k starting from tomorrow and have the Great North Run (half marathon) penciled in my calendar for September but that all depends on successfully getting a place.
