I am a former WW member, I never did well on the free style. With MFP, I am more accurate on portion size. I am seeing results quicker than on WW.

I couldn't use the vape. For me part of the quit needed to change the hand to mouth thing.

For me it was just deciding to pick a quit date and time that I felt I could be the most successful. Once I decided when I was going to quit, I got somethings together to use instead of smokes. I read Allen Carr's Easyway to quit. The biggest challenge for me was what to do with my hands. I am now learning to play the…

Log your food before you eat it. Treat yourself to a little something sweet to signal to your body that supper is over! These are working for me.

Just for today, I will be mindful!

I recommend you read a lot of other peoples posts and pick friends that are making this work and inspire you. Track everything, the good the bad and the ugly. Hi, I am new to FitBit as well. I am 55 years old and just had big toe surgery, 8 weeks ago so I am just now walking in a shoe. I used to walk marathons and ultramarathons. Last year I was made to change jobs, from one where I was very active to one where I sit A LOT. I asked for the FitBit to help motivate me to move more…
