You look great!

Who would think we'd be excited about sweat? lol But it's a wonderful sign of progress. Congratulations!!!

I'm sorry it wasn't a good fit for you. Some people do better with another brand of cup. There is a survey somewhere that helps you chose the one that would work best for you and your body, I'll have to see if I can find it. The cups have been extensively tested, and there is no risk of TSS like there is with other…

Since switching to the Diva cup, I no longer have cramps. I used to get horrible ones in which I couldn't function for several days. I've heard rumors that disposable feminine product companies put chemicals in their products that causes your TOM to last longer -- and thus use more of their products. This also causes more…

How many calories are you eating now?

I can relate, I've always needed to be careful of my food intake while breastfeeding or my supply would go down. I'm still bf'ing my 13 month old and, still, I need more calories than I would otherwise. If I get too low and try to lose too much too fast, I get extremely fatigued and worn out. She still nurses a lot, so…

I lost 8 pounds of water weight from yesterday morning to this morning due to TOM. I was so frustrated last week with my weight gain, but I knew it was water weight. So glad to have it off.

I'm definitely getting a mommy makeover when I reach my goal weight. Hubby is all for it. :) I went from a 38B to a 42 DD with my first child and had two more children after that. Needless to say, I have way more skin than tissue and it isn't pretty. I also have a muscle separation in my belly and I already have loose…

I just posted about this tonight. I take an AD and also an extra medicine to help boost the AD. That med makes it very hard for me to lose weight. I am STARVING all the time. In my case, depression is a physical problem with the chemicals in the brain. It runs in my family big-time.
-
Well, the antidepressant I'm taking isn't the problem, unfortunately. Abilify's tagline is when an antidepressant by itself isn't enough. And that's my case right now. I need something IN ADDITION to the antidepressant I'm taking, as an antidepressant isn't enough for me. That's my sticking point. There's not a lot of…

I'm glad to know I'm not alone. I usually put on 2-5 pounds and it lasts around a week. It's so depressing to work so hard and yet watch the numbers on the scale creep up. I know it's water weight, but it's still depressing.

Thank you so much for the advice. I already drink a ton of water, but I'll try to drink more. And salads are a great idea. I'll have to stock up on supplies. I take two medicines, one is Celexa, which isn't too bad. The one that causes problems for me is Abilify. I went off of it for about a month and my appetite changed…

Exactly!!

This has to be a lifestyle, so you have to make changes you know you can live with long-term. For example, I LOVE chocolate. I know I wouldn't stick to a "diet" that eliminated chocolate. So I have it twice a week and budget my calories for it. It tastes extra yummy because I am eating it in moderation and I really look…

You look wonderful, congratulations!!

My SW is 296, so right now my goal is 199. I would love to be between 168-173 which is what I was before having kids. Any less than that and I look like I'm sick. I have huge hip bones -- and that was before having three children, I hope they haven't spread! Some of my patients used to call my "heifer hips" because my bony…

I'm not bipolar but I have major depressive disorder and the two medications I'm on both cause weight loss. I feel like I have to choose being fat and happy or unstable and skinny.

Looks like I have a two year journey ahead of me. :grumble:

This.

I'm losing weight so I can be the mom to my kids that I want to be. There are lots of other little "bonus" reasons, but that far and away is my main reason.

I had it done in April of 2010. It was the first time I ever had surgery and, honestly, it was super easy. I came home and slept that entire day and by the next day I was feeling almost normal. There was barely any pain, it just felt like I over strained my muscles a little bit. I didn't gain any additional weight after…

I sent you a request, I have about the same amount to lose.

I need to keep a copy of this somewhere. I think this will really help me when I get a craving for junk food late at night. Thanks!

I had my diary open for a little while. But then I caught myself being tempted to not log everything so that it would look better, which is ridiculous. So I made my diary private again. That just seems to work much better for me at this stage. I'm in the very beginning of my journey. As I go along, I may open it up, who…

Great job! That's definitely a huge difference!

I'm 5'7" (I was 5'8", but I shrunk). HW 298 CW 291 GW 200 (probably more once I get there, but it's overwhelming to think of that now)
-
You look wonderful! As a mom of three, that is definitely inspirational!

I love that quote! Can I borrow it for my siggie?
