I've never lost weight after a cheat. I retain water way too easily for that :)

What percentage of loss a week is that for you? If you weigh 150, it's probably a bit fast. If you weigh 300, it's not too fast. The leaner you get, the slower you should expect the fat loss. Your body will fight you the leaner you get. I don't know what people mean by sustainable or unsustainable. Eventually everybody…

Nice work

I think the key to thick abs is more about core strength. If you deadlift and squat heavy then your abs will also develop. For ab work I prefer the ab wheel. I have a 2x12 board that I lay on the barbell in the power rack, and roll up the ramp. As I get stronger i lower the pins...trying to get to the point of doing it…

Finally, someone else sees the light ;)

I usually run on my cardio days, 2 miles to 3 miles, and that gets boring. I try to get through it as fast as possible (6.5-7mph), but I just hate running, even though I feel it's one of, if not the best way to burn many calories (other than crazy sports like BJJ or something, which are definitely harder from my limited…

I'm upset she has a higher fat loss than me :p

True, it takes me 2 weeks before I hvae to shave my face :). When I was young i was conscientious about that, but turns out I don't have to deal with 5 o'clock shadows every other day. Lucky me :).

I am generally the same, although you prolly lift more days than me out of a year. I try to only take a day off whenever I feel the need to, which is usually 1 every 2 weeks. It's otherwise a cardio day, or a 4-day split routine that I just start over early in the week. If i am bored of lifting I will run 2-3 miles for a…

Nothing wrong with taking 2-3 weeks away from hard calorie counting but I would still be mindful of what I'm eating. I wish I were one of those people who didn't have to count calories all the time, but the hard reality is it's important for those who struggle with their weight to know what they're putting in their mouth…

Deep squats (deeper the better), use those glutes to get out of the hole, Reverse Hyper extensions (although most gyms don't have this) Dumbbell Swings (deep) And all the other suggestions people mentioned

I didn't suggest someone lift heavy (5 reps). I suggested 10-`15 reps. I wouldn't do 10 sets of `10-15 reps either. 3 sets of 10 is fine. Point is, learn form, and stay away from strains. Lifting heavy (5 reps or less) is tough on the body and it's not wise to do it frequently. I was speaking more from a recovery…

Nothing more attractive than watching a woman squat...

I eat 20 egg whites and 4 yolks a day (split into 2 settings). My cholesterol is the best it's ever been. BUT, I don't have a genetic issue with cholesterol either. I agree with others that say dietary cholesterol has little if any impact on overall numbers. I agree as long as there's not a genetic predisposition. It's…
