  • Thanks for taking the time to write all of this information down! I have recently started running and will use the information a lot.
  • Way to go! You have done an awesome job to lose 100 lbs! Keep up the good work! Can't wait to hear about your bulking success!
  • It sounds like you might be eating too few calories. I eat 1200 calories a day, but I am 4'10.5" tall. You may also want to try changing up your workouts. You could try other cardio machines like the elliptical, bike, or stair master. Also, cardio intervals burn more calories. I recently got a heart rate monitor, and found…
  • I would add strength training. I have added three heavy lifting days per week (with the help and encouragement of my husband) and have been steadily losing 3 lbs per month over the past three months. I have about 16 lbs to go before I reach my goal. Before I added the strength training, I had plateaued for a while.
  • OMG! I feel exactly the same way as you. I am your height (4'10.5") and also eat pretty healthy. However, just like you I had to learn that I couldn't eat the same amounts as my taller/bigger friends and family. The other thing I learned is that little cheats add up, and I can't cheat (even something small) more than once…
  • I agree. Use your own scale. You probably weighed more at the doctor's office because it was later in the day and you had been eating and drinking. I weigh myself Friday morning before eating or drinking anything.
