There working on a new treatment for cancer that tiny nanobots (I know, Science Fiction sounding) attach themselves to cancer sells and then a proton pulse cannon shoots the nanobots signature thus killing the cancer cell. If this ends up working, not only would it be the miracle so many are looking for in Cancer research,…

Just remember that a fitbit has no understanding about your true stride length, turn over rate or metabolic fitness. It is basically a high tech pedometer that try's to take some guesses. I wouldn't use it as a testament to all things health. That said, I am addicted to mine and except for recharging it once a week it's…

I have it set for 2# a week but I'm 6'8" tall so it's relative. Also I'm happy with just 1# if it is consistent since I will have a day or two a week where I'm less than perfect. I figure I spent many years getting fat so it won't come off overnight, nor should it.

I remember talking to a vet one time about a dog of mine because I thought the dog looked a little thin. The vet said that the reason we think the dog was thin was cause we are so used to seeing dogs that are too heavy..... Not saying this is the same thing for you. Your family has a mental image of you when you were…

I've notice this as well. I always find it funny that when I work out hard for a few days the weight stays the same or even gets higher. Then when I have a skip / cheat day and feel bad about myself for blowing the diet that day I end up losing weight.

Short story - 80 lbs this year. Starting at 305 (6'8"). Now at 297. First goal is 284 which is my lowest adult weight. Then 278 which takes me out of the obese. Then 255 which was my high school weight. And finally the end goal of 225.

I'm hoping on board this train. I'm down 7lbs so far this year. 20 lbs would be incredible microgoal. Lowest adult weight I hit was 284. I'm currently 297 so 20lbs would put me lower than my previous low. I'm 6'8" and want to get down to 225. Would love to add some friends along the journey so if your looking for a friend…
