  • Thank you for the reference to Engine 2. I found a lot there to think about. I moved away from meat almost two years with the goal of going vegan. I haven't given up occasional pesto, pasta dishes and smoothies with yogurt. I'll get there soon though. I haven't had a burger or lasagna (my favs) since.

  • Every day. I eat a lot of it. 2 servings or about 300 calories. I add one of blueberries, strawberries, or a banana to it in addition to walnuts and almonds or pecans. Oh, the most important ingredient is brown sugar. I try to eat a large share of my daily calorie intake early and this fits the bill.
  • Yes. I am running now, but when I got started, I walked exclusively. If you keep the pace up (around 15:00 per mile or better), it is a great exercise. You can't beat a long walk outside, especially when the sun is shining. Do it.
  • Wow! What a far flung group. I'm in Southeast Michigan near Detroit.
  • Bolthouse Farms Olive Oil Vinaigrette and Creamy Yogurt types. Lots of choices in both categories. Ken's Light Dressings has many good ones. Annie's Naturals are fantastic and claim to be organic.
