Love it. I started in Aug and was doing it consistently until mid November. I lost 15 pounds. I stuck to 1200-1400 calories and I also cut out dairy and grains. My weight it creeping back up so I'm back to IF starting TODAY. My eating window is 11:00-7:00. I also have wine at night. :)

Vegan Shakeology with spinach and blueberries for my first meal. Snacks include RxBars, sardines, apple slices with almond butter or Avocados. For dinner usually pork loin or fish with veges and 2 glasses of wine.

I do the 16:8 method. Started at the end of August. Lost 12 pounds so far. Been pretty consistent...maybe 4 days off total. I also cut out dairy and carbs and refined sugars. I eat between 1200-1300 calories a day. Lost 13 pounds . Today I hit my first goal weight of 135. Trying for 130. I also do the Intermittent Fast approach to eating. I will say I'm usually hungry. Not starving but generally uncomfortable. But for me it's worth it.

1200 here however rarely make it...more like 1400-1500 calories. 1200 is so hard!! :)

I love wine. Normal for me is (was) 3-4 glasses of wine a night! However I have cut way back. I no longer drink during the week unless it's a special occasion (not too many of those) and now only drink on Saturdays....2 glasses max. So down to two glasses of wine a week. I feel so much better. My body can't handle alcohol…

Thanks ladies! Fun to read what everyone wrote. I had forgotten that I bought Boots .7 foundation awhile back and loved it! I had lost the tube and just went back to whatever I was using at the time. I may need to revisit that skin care line....

I'm 5'7 and weigh between 135-140..... Usually hang out at 138. When I'm 135 I can squeeze into a 6.....but 8 is generally what I wear

Only if I'm really hungry and even then I usually don't eat back all the calories.

I like to plan my meals out a couple days in advance (speaking of which I need to do that right now) and I always leave some calories available for treats. Like wine. :)

Mine is open as well. Not much of a cook and therefore tend to eat the same things:)

If you need to be held accountable I can see where WW might be better. Personally, MFP works great for me and it's free. Unless you upgrade which I have no interest in doing.

I drink wine almost every night. I measure it out and I put those calories in first thing in the morning. It's a staple. I'm home with two young kids and I look forward to it at the end of the day. I've still been able to lose weight .

I usually eat mine back however I lost weight faster when I didn't. I'm too hungry if I don't and I need the energy to keep up with my toddlers. I have however started incorporating a 5:2 intermittent fast. Those days are rough....

I'm 5'7 currently 136lbs. My ultimate goal is 125 but I'm stuck at 136. So at this rate I would be thrilled with 130lbs.

So that was interesting. I was definitely hungry but it was doable. I woke up in the middle of the night with a bad headache and feel a bit off this morning. Hi! Since this is my first time trying this, I will do it for a few weeks and see how my body responds. From there, if there are no issues and I'm feeling good, I will try and stick with it for awhile. I think it's completely doable. Some of you have mentioned intermittent fasting. I've heard this a good thing to do. I think I will do it next Monday. 500 calories...wow...that's going to be tough.
