Yep it depends on height but also shape, where you are holding your fat, how much is fat how much is muscle. Even when I was only under 50kg I wore a size 12 because I had big 'swimmer's shoulders and arms'.

I'm doing W4 on the treadmill, I had done up to Week 5 outside this time last year but I had problems with breathing - and realised that it's allergies because it's spring down here in Aus thus the treadmill this year. I have done the W4 run 5 times - because i don't want to go to W5 whilst I am slightly struggling with…

My suggestions - but I've not tried. You could stick velcro to the base of the show and opposing velcro to the base of your orthodic and stick together? How? with double sided take or blutac gum? Blutac in general Or double sided tape industrial grade if there is such a thing. - there is

Well it could just be hormone or salt causing a bit of fluid retention. So give it a week.
-
Ah it's actually that your body has been holding on to fluid and has just let it go. If you keep away from salt you should stay around that until ovulation

Thanks, I already have plenty of muscle and when last did weight training I went up 3 kg over 6 weeks so I try not to do much strength training. Some of my cardio is swimming so I do get quite of bit of muscle toning there. But my metabolism should already by high because of my muscle. traceya76 you are right when I've…

I've travelled a lot through Asia for business - ha - and you thought that within USA was hard :) Sorry I can't help you - that's how I put on about 10lb but interested if anyone has advice for travelling outside USA, Aust, Canada, UK and NZ

road running is harder, and it's more interesting but tread mill is good for me because there is no pollen inside on the treadmill and I can breath ;)

Yes I do them, I love it. I am the most uncoordinated, unflexible person and I have no balance. Basically I laugh my way though it. The first couple of times you'll find it a bit of a struggle - well I did, but stick with it because it gets easier and it's great compliment to what ever you are doing. There are a couple of…

Hi Sweetie, Well there is hope - apple shape can be changed - really it can, really there is another shape underneath there waiting to shine. How do I know this, because I once had a waist and I don't have one now. I have no back side, it's all on front as well. But as I exercise I see my waist coming back - and I've not…

Where do I start... ? Peppermint for after meals - which helps with digestion. I like Ginger tea but I do my own - I get ginger root and slice a piece off with a potato peeler and poor hot water over it. again good for digestion Sleepytime by celestial seasonings Lemon Myrtle ( but I think you can only get this in…

The photos that people have posted of me on facebook recently are a pretty big motivation. My weight loss is really slow, but I am now motivated by how much fitter I feel - I've got back the bounce I've not had in years. I stand taller and I feel happier. You can tell the difference in the progress photos of everyone -…

Getting exercise first thing in the morning is good. When you get home - some controlled deep breathing and some stretching is good also. A couple of stretches works wonders and doesn't take much time.
-
Yeah I'm on 1200 calories and exercise usually 5 days a week and I'm lucky if I loose 1lb a fortnight. It took time to put it on, it takes time to take it off.
-
That was a joke right?
-
Do you need to lower carb or can you go to low GI diet?
-
Just do what your body tells you. But why not have a good lemon & manuka honey - it's so good when you are under the weather

I'm a bit late But I'll join in tomorrow. The First Friday of the month.

Yep, that's teenagers for you. Don't give up on her, and don't reject her. She will be rude and grumbly until she is about 20 and then she will become a bit more normal and by the time she is 25 she'll be good company again. You can ask her what she wants - but chances are even that won't satisfy her. Good Luck

Special K with milk - has protein which is good. Or a good, untoasted, fruit free muesli Or a protein shake .... not a bought one - a home made one - berries, low fat milk & silken tofu, chia seads and LSA blended

Yeah I often get this- sometimes when I walk I wear a pack just so I can hold onto the straps to keep my hands above me heart.

I don't always correct a person - but sometimes I do... I always do in my head. But I still accept the compliment with a sincere 'Thank you' because I think they intended it to be taken well. You Look Well/Nice can mean... That Bra/Shapewear is working for you and You look nice It can also mean you look happy. But whenever…

What's that old wives saying... A woman thinks her man will change A man thinks his woman won't change Neither is Correct.

Okay this is the way I see it. I'm not a guy, and I'm not living with a guy. My advice comes from watching others in their relationships. Relationships go from Dating, to Spending most of our time together but not living together, to We might as well live together for time, energy and financial reasons to we have lived…

Yep I agree with the Diabetics and MFP. Have studied and bit of Biochemistry also. Did you know that fructose is processed in a different way and bypasses the 'I feel full' mechanism of the body. So you really need to count your fruits. My dietician basically said... fruit juice and dried fruit are no longer an option and…

Love the skinny dipping.

Yep - I know that frustration. It turned out to be PCOs for me... well actually it's insulin resistance that's caused by insulin resistance. This time last year I was having trouble losing anything at all, I'd been doing everything I should have been doing in the way of exercise and put on weight over 3 months (2 kg). I…

Lamingtons - but I now know I can't stop at one - I have to have the whole box - and the whole box is my whole calorie intake allowance for the day. So now it's a nono.
