  • Welcome, I have been a member for 3 weeks now and I have loved this website. The people are encouraging and I love reading about the people's successes. It helps me. Counting the calories is easy and I don't go hungry. I'm also a nursing mom and I still get what both of us needs. This place is great, I'm sure it will be a…

  • You have done a great job. You can do it. Think about where you were and how that made you feel. I'm sure you feel alot better losing that weight. I know when I was pregnant and at 252 I could barely move. Now that I am at 205 and of course a long way to go to be at my goal but, I feel some much better already. KEEP GOING…
  • You have had great success as well. How long did it take you to lose that much? I have been losing quiet nicely which of course is always encouraging. But, hoping to be able like I said in the other post to fit into some of my wardrobe by Sept. Just trying to see if it's a reasonable goal for me.
  • You have really lost alot. How long did it take you to lose that much weight. I am hoping to lose 30 lbs. by the 1st week in September. As I have already stated, I have lost around 8 (as I have to lose the lb. that I gained this weekend.) I hope I can. I have another church function in Sept. I am hoping to be able to fit…
  • Thanks for the encouragement. Everyone is so kind. I have just enjoyed this website so much. It really is a blessing to have other people to share our successes or struggles with. Wendy
  • My kids are 13,12, 6,5,3 and the baby girl 41/2 months.
  • Hi, welcome. I have only been on here a week and a half and I have lost 8 lbs. This site has been very encouraging to me and I'm sure it will be to you as well.

  • That's great. What an accomplishment. I like your Bible scripture, really makes you think.
  • That is great. You look small. I was telling one of my friends today that has a 6 month old herself about reading your post. Your post encouraged me to think I can lose the weight and keep it off if I become pregnant again. Thanks for posting.
  • It's nice to meet other large homeschooling families. I have 4 boys and now finally 2 girls.
  • I am more organized now with a large family than I used to be but I still have a ways to go. LOL:laugh: However, I am looking for healthier meals that I can serve not just for me trying to lose weight but also to my whole family as I don't want them to ever have to battle the weight issues I have. I had to start pushing…
  • I would love to join the support group. I just joined myfitness last wednesday. I am a stay at home, homeschooling mother of 6. Their ages are 13, 12, 6,5,3 and a 4 month old. This website has been so helpful and I look forward to meeting new friends.
  • And Tam it was very encourgeing to see how much weight you lost. How are you doing with your weight since you became pregnant? If I become pregnant again that would be a concern for me to not gain everything back once I lose it.
  • They are a blessing. I have been pregnant many times as I have a 4 month old baby girl myself. But, I have 6 kiddies. Ages 13, 12, 6,5,3, and of course the baby. Enjoy them they do grow up fast. Maybe, we will have more as we do nothing to prevent our children. I know you probably think we are crazy. We believe are…
  • Wow that is fantastic. You look great. My daughter was born in Feb. 2009. I am at 209.5 right now and I was 252 just before she was born. I am nursing as well. So I will have to take it slower so as not to effect my milk supply, but that is really encouraging. I have been heavy for so long and I'm tired of it. I have 6…
  • I am right there where you are. I haven't been below 170 since I started haviing babies. I have 6. My oldest is going to turn 14 in Aug. and I have a 4 month old baby girl. I weighted in at 252 just before my daughter was born. I am now 209.5. It isn't easy but this place is very supportive. I thank with the encouragement…
  • Thank you, I do really enjoy it here. My daughter told me I am spending all day on here. Congradulations you are doing really well. I was about 252 just before my baby was born. I am now 209 1/2. My short term goal is to make it out of the 200's. How long have you been with myfitness? If you don't mind me asking,…
  • Thank you I have already enjoyed it the short time that I have joined.
  • Hi I to am nurnsing. I have a 4 month old and she is exclusively nursing. I am new to this site and I wanted to have a way to count calories.
