  • I think boot camp especially when you start is more of inches than weightloss. Youre body will be very sore. You should not do classee back to back. Even if your muscles arent sore if you push yourself itll show quickly ( less than a month). The weightloss is another story. Your body will hold onto water more in…
  • Happens to me all the time. Through high school and right after pregnancy. Would happen now too but I stop myself once I feel the symptoms. I'll wait 15 min if I have to before trying to exercise again. I don't know what it is but realize I can't go as intense as everyone else. Sucks for cardio but I do okay with weights…
  • Honestly I want to know to. I kind of gave up. Everything hurts. I can do 30DS. I can do pilates. I can swim but running or even jogging kills me. Please answer her question. Inquiring minds want to know.
  • Please listen to above Also you do a lot of cardio. Mix it up with weight training is sometimes enough to give the metabolism the boot. Make sure that you do a good combo of protein and fat on the day of like milk or peanut butter. There are many others but I don't like them.... That's how I started losing. Before no…
  • Week 1- 213 Let's get this started!!!!!!:explode: That's me pumped up! LOL not constipated.
  • Hey purple for sure! I hope you are doing well. I took a look at your diary and while I realized you've been utilizing the deficit principle, you might just be killing your metabolism. Which would make it very hard to lose that last 7-10 lbs. If you don't have to lose it in a hurry I suggest you take a look at the article…
  • In newbie section theree is a article about 185 lb women not losing weight even though she had a serious deficit going. Either read the article or look into matabolic training.
  • Go to the newbie threads, although I realize you aren't one. They had a very interesting post about metabolism changes. Click 185 lb women not losing.
  • My friend was on it for years- She smelled really bad, gained about sixty ilbs, and always felt bad. She got off, got pregnant., lost the baby fat and the prievious sixty and doesn't smell anymore. I think it affects people differently. If you thinks its a factor swith, but give it a couple months before you see any change.
  • Hey I'm 5'2 and I've been losing between 1 & 2 lbs a week. It could be because Im so heavy, 220. But I stay between 1200- and 1400 most days. I also circuit train 2-3x a week as well as combo of squats, pushups, situps right after I brush my teeth each morning. Usually about 5-10 mins worth. Total exercise time each week…
  • Just added you. I started in September. Check out everyone's blog they are very, inspirational, funny, motivating, etc. I hope you stay with it. I'm a repeat too! IIm in Philly too! Good luck!
  • Unfortunatey 5'2 looking to lose 90 lbs, averaging 1.5 lbs a week so far. For me it's always been strength traing that makes the difference- The firm or jillian michaels, they mix strength and cardio.. Cardio (for me never helps) i gain the weight right back.
  • Yeah also avid reader and really feel the pain ( for me that means more money in my pocket. Also gave up ' cue jeopardy theme song' yeah my snooze button. I used to love those 25 minutes of extra sleep but traded it in for crunches situps and squats. Made a huge difference.
  • Im already a fan- I mean friend- but way to go! You are totally an inspiration. Im a little quiet but I commend your effort and dedication. Here's to losing! Woohoo!:drinker:
  • Yeah I feel the same. I am eating below 1400 . Maybe its because I need sooo much. I know that the bigger you r the more you need. Right now I just try not to overdue exercise. I'm hoping that once a hit a plateau I can just start exercising more to break it. Really strive to net 1200. As people before me said any more and…
  • Awesome success. Keep up the good work!:drinker:
  • Hey you guys... I'm in height 5'2 age 28 CW: 216 GW: 130 (eventually)

  • So happy to know I'm not the only one. My whole house treats me as if Im an anomaly! LOL! Shows them, But really I don't like shoes at all. They make my feet hurt. I never have on shoes once I'm home. When I go out they are necessary but still EVIL!:grumble:
  • In order to say under I have to eat all the time. That means 3 meals 250-350 (750-1050) cals and 3 snacks 50-150 ( 150-450)cals. My goal is 1300. I also eat my exercise cals.
  • DEFINITELY COOL! I have my 9 year old girls singing and dancing on our walks and * GASP* in the middle of a full supermarket:blushing: I think it builds character.
  • You are absolutely right. If it works for you than I support you! :flowerforyou: If it doesn't we are still here trying to be supportive. Personally, I have a nobody can tell me what to do mentality so it I know it won't work for me. Do it and have fun. Keeping it interesting will be a continuous part of your weight…
  • My diary is open and I like ALL FOOD. Take a peek.
  • Not sure what you eat but I do know that if you only eat once a day or bulk calories at one meal your killing your metabolism. You'll still lose weight but your body will also try to hold on to food when you do eat more. I know that Im not that active and wont be later on ( Im trying to change that but I have to be…
  • Exactly! LOL!
  • I think eeer maybe. I know that it can feel addictive? The more sugar you eat the move you are going to need ( has to do with blood sugar levels. The higher you go the higher they fall which makes you want more. :drinker: And if you don't get more--- you crash!  Sounds like burnout to me. Maybe switch sugar…
  • Ditto!
