Most of her DVDs have a lower impact instructor you can follow. I have a bad knee and follow the low impact workout for 30DS. Also, mixing in those scheduled rest days will help a lot, too. The most important thing is just to listen to your body. If your knee isn't feeling a workout one day, skip it. It's okay to take a…

You look awesome! You've definitely inspired me! I've been feeling a bit discouraged lately. I know I haven't been working out as much as I could/should but I've still been eating good and still haven't seen much dip in the scale or measurements. If other people can do it, there's no reason I can't do it, I just need to…

• Gender: Female • Age: 23 • Starting weight: 176 • Current weight: 168.4 • Goal weight: 135-140 • What are your reasons for wanting to lose/gain weight? (Please state which) I want to lose weight to feel comfortable and confident in my own skin and to wear cute clothes. I never really had much style sense until recently,…

Queen of Night Tulips. They're a purple so deep they're almost black. My grandma planted them for me at my parents old house, then I moved out and so did my parents. I haven't gotten around to ordering new bulbs to plant because I don't keep a garden where I live now. I'd say Sunflowers are my next favorite, followed by…

I'm 5'1" and aiming for 135. I'm going to reevaluate as I get closer though to see how I feel with myself. Weight is just a number and is a good starting point, but what I'm really aiming for is being 100% comfortable with myself. It doesn't matter what the scale says as long as I look and feel good.

I am so glad you posted this! I want to start running, too. I've gone 4 times in the past month and I love it (which is weird because I've never liked running) and I crave runs. I have to be careful, though, just starting out it'd be bad to try too much too soon, so while I want to run every day, I'm limiting it to 2-3…

Hi! My name is Denise, Dee for short. I am 23. I have never liked running and I can barely jog for a minute or two before my lungs protest. That said, I've been craving it. I know I can barely jog right now, but I love the feeling of going out for a "run." I have gone 3 times in the past month and want to go out more.…

From the home page there is a Setting link at the top right of the screen. Click on then, then on Diary Settings, and scroll down to the last chunk and select public.

But it's Saint Patrick, not Saint Padrick. So where do you get the d's from in St. Paddy's?? You make no sense.

Mine: Apples Bananas Celery Peanuts (allergic to actual nuts) String Cheese (low sodium or low fat) Crackers and Peanut Butter when I need something higher calorie

That's what I love about the boxing cardio. It looks like you're punching her in the face if you stand right. ;)

If this is real and not a joke...you should seriously consult your physician. Voice your idea of eating 500 calories a day. Even though family physicians are NOT nutritionists, I imagine even they will tell you you're crazy and give you some more suggestions on how to lose weight safely. Did you put all the weight on…

I think it really depends on your activity level and weight. My HRM tells me I burn 270-310 depending on my intensity and often I feel like I deserved every single one of those calories and that anything less would be too low. If you're more fit than I am, maybe you'd burn less because it wouldn't be as difficult for you.…

Originally I just had a Sportline watch where I had to press a certain spot to get my HR. It's not the most accurate thing in the world but it was affordable at the time and the more frequently you press for your HR, the more accurate the read. It's okay for cardio, like running or using the elliptical or something because…

The woman on our morning country radio show has a ton of funny alternatives that I can't think of for the life of me right now. Elephant Dust. I'm not sure why Elephant instead of horse dust, cow dust, etc., I guess it's funnier.

My husband and I started dating on August 13th (2009). We wanted to get married the same date but didn't want to wait long enough for it to fall on a weekend so we just got married this past August 11th. You picked a perfect month. I wish I started losing weight before my wedding. I'm very happy with how the…

I love your tattoo!! OP - that's when you break out your own snack of something deliciously healthy and shove it in his face. like some celery or air popped popcorn.

I don't think general, every day food prep should be logged, but to each their own. Unless you're not the one in your home who usually cooks, in which case it would be a bit abnormal and may be okay to log. However, when I was standing on my feet for 12 hours over the course of two days baking Christmas cookies...I did log…

I'm glad you asked this! I hate wearing shoes, especially at home. I do wear my sneakers during my workouts right now but after this thread I'll probably start doing them barefoot. Except my elliptical. It's very textured and that would hurt.

You look great! Happy Birthday!!

My husband hasn't been sleeping well lately so he went to bed early and slept for a good 12+ hours, and I went for a...jog. I'm not a runner, I never used to like running, but for the past two weeks I've really wanted to go for a run so I went out and did a power walk/jog combo in the rain. It felt great.

I wait at least an hour after I eat before I work out. Otherwise I feel awful and like I'm going to throw up my meal. Do what works and feels best for you.

I have nothing productive to add. I just wonder how I never thought to deep fry our pizza rolls. How would that be different than pizza logs from a restaurant? You are brilliant.

I drink soda whenever I want if it is within my calories/macros, but do limit myself to one a day (though I only have about 3 a week). I can't drink diet sodas because aspartame gives me migraines so I just enjoy my coke or pepsi now and then and don't sweat about it.

I'm in it for the creamer. I absolutely love the smell of black coffee but can't get past the bitter taste. If I have flavored creamer, I don't need sugar, but if it's just milk or half and half I need me some sugar in there, too. I have been using less though, trying to slowly get myself drinking something closer to black…
