As another posted said to NET around 1340, that would mean if you work out and burn 600 calories, you should eat back about 300. You never want to net much lower than your BMR or your body could go into starvation mode and you won't lose weight at all. At the very very least you should be netting 1200 per day, the minimum…

Bumping for later! Sounds great!

This is pretty neat. I'm only 3lbs off of hitting my goal by the time I want to. Pretty darn close!

I'd estimate 3-4 times per month. But it really depends on what is going on. We try to eat at home as much as we can.

I like this little saying "If you don't know if you're hungry, chances are you're not." If you know you are hungry, eat a little something, keep it around 100 calories and then go from there. Chances are good that your body isn't used to eating its new amount of food yet. You're not starving. If you stick to your calorie…

The first week to week and a half that I was here I was trying to net near 1200 a day. I had small amounts of weight loss. However, I then went up to 1400 calories a day (MFP says my BMR is 1470 or something) and I've had larger losses consistently in the last week. Of my current 4lb loss, 3lbs of it has been in the last…

If his wife knows and is okay with it...leave it alone. Just because it's not how YOU would handle YOUR relationship, doesn't mean it's not okay for others to have a wife and a girlfriend. You don't have to understand he and his wife's life choices, you just have to understand that they are entitled to live their life the…

You look great! Congrats!

Can't you simply tell her it isn't possible because you're cut? Or have you done that already and she's claiming it's possible anyway?

Welcome to MFP! I just started here 2-3 weeks ago and LOVE IT. Some of the friends I've made have been so motivating. Feel free to add me. I'm looking to lose about 38lbs by Christmas, I've lost 4 so far. A lot of times I will try to find or make a healthier (not healthy, but not as bad for you) version of whatever I want.…

I usually just have a sandwich for lunch with some kind of low-fat or low-sodium meat and a slice of cheese and that usually fills me up. I typically snack once between breakfast and lunch and once between lunch and dinner. A lot of times this will include a piece of fruit like a banana, clementines, an apple, etc., or a…

I've used it before and I love how it makes my hair look and feel for most of the day but by the end of the day my naturally greasy hair is even more greasy. I can't use it every day otherwise my hair looks greasy constantly so I try to switch it up with a day of Wen, a couple days of my normal shampoo, etc.

Great job, everyone. I CAN do this. You all look terrific!

Definitely YAY. My fiance actually cooks most of the week as he is currently unemployed and I don't get home until 6pm. If I want to eat before 7 (which I definitely DO), he cooks. Then I normally cook on the weekends. He never used to enjoy cooking because I guess anyone he'd ever cooked for never showed their…

My name is Denise, but one of my nicknames is Dee. I'm getting married in a little less than 2 months so I opted for my married last name, not my maiden name.

I'm 23, my fiance is 31. We have decided that we don't want kids. Our relationship is perfect the way it is and I truly don't think children would be healthy for our relationship. Also, I do not have the patience for children. I am selfish and like my current lifestyle and don't want to change it. But, it is funny how…

bump Sounds delicious.

Congrats! You look great! Love the cake, by the way. My wedding cake will be similar. :)

I'm so sorry you're going through this, Kayla. I don't think I've ever been in a relationship quite like that but I'm glad he is gone. It sounds like you will be much better without him. You've got a good head on your shoulders and are doing right by yourself by going to school and working to support yourself. Being with…

You look great! You can definitely see the progress made. Be proud!

After reading the description, I'm not interested in it simply because it doesn't include calories burned.

I just got this in my e-mail, as well. Glad I searched before posting my own topic. :P For $15, I may just have to buy it even though I already have a heart rate monitor...perhaps this one is better than my current.

I just bought Ken's Lite Olive Oil Vinaigrette. It's really good but you could probably make the same thing at home.

That's a great transformation in only 2 weeks! Wow. Congrats.

My dad sells Herbalife and lost a good chunk of weight using it. I've tried some of the shakes and, maybe I'm just really picky, but I really couldn't stand them and the meal bars were really gritty and not all that great. See if you can contact a seller and get a free sample to see if you even like the stuff before you…

I typically don't like sparkling flavored water. I've tried several different brands and just don't like them. However, I came across this brand Sparkling ICE and it's fantastic!! It curbs my craving for soda since it's carbonated, it tastes nice, fruity and refreshing, it is 0 calories and is sweetened with sucralose…

Definitely a huge difference! Awesome job! That's inspiring!

Ohhhhh my. This sounds delicious. I'm always asked to bring Chicken Wing Dip and some type of dessert to my uncle's annual 4th of July Party. I think I'm going to make this!!!

Make a chocolate milkshake. 140 calories. 1/2 cup vanilla frozen yogurt, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, about 1/3 cup milk (or more or less depending on desired consistency).
