been eating paleo/primal 90% of the time since the 1st of December and had great success. I'll treat myself every once in a while, but my intake is largely paleo/primal friendly. Journal is open, feel free to take a look. :)

It may also benefit you to use coconut oil too, both in cooking, and as a daily good-fat supplement.

Looks gook to me. If you're no longer hungry, listen to your body. Sometimes I meet my calorie requirement, but offen times I come up short. As long as you're getting all the nutrients you need, don't worry. My journal is open, feel free to take a peak. :)

I have to politely disagree, I seem to be managing just fine with it. As long as your body gets the propper nutrients and a healthy serving of good fats every day, you can still lose weight healthfully when staying at or just below 1200. No nasty side effects or surprises, lots of energy and better sleep. BUT you have to…

Dark chocolate... or home made chocolate chip cookies, especially when fresh coffee is available to go with them.

I still eat fruit when I can get it, but I tend to go more for the darker berries and the more bitter fruits.

If you just drink regular black coffee, the calories are usually about 2. And that's mainly just because of the coffe bean oil that you get with your morning cup of joe.

Indeed, Paleo IS awesome! :) I'm having to really work at getting under 186lbs though. lol

Always looking for new friends on this journey! :)

I usually tweak the recipe depending on what we have available that day. I always use black Angus beef, but usually add carrots,it broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, and sometimes a can of tomatoes. I'll also toss a few dashes of soy sauce and warchestshire sauce in. Once I tossed in a jalepino pepper…

I'll do it if I have to, but I hate having to force myself to eat when I'm not hungry.

It's definately worth a try if you're serious about losing weight and gaining energy. I've been 100% Paleo since December 1st of this year and have dropped a total of 19lbs so far, just by changing what I put in my body. My ticker doesn't really reflect it because I stopped updating it for a long time, but I'm back at it…

Update: We actually found a place that sells canned herring fillets and sardines with a brand name of Atlantic Premium. They only have two ingredients listed: Naturally smoked herring/sardines, and salt. It sounds good, and I LOVE herring, but I know we're suppose to watch our salt intake on this diet. Is 230mg of sodium…

And that's with buying black Angus beef and 90% lean ground black Angus. Once your body gets rid of all the toxins it's carrying, the tastes of the clean foods are amazing! Home made beanless chilli will make your tongue turn around and slap your brain. :)

Actually, no. We thought it would be because everything is fresh, but it will surprise you. Grant it, you should still strive to be savvy when shopping, but we've been able to fill almost two weeks worth of food needs for $50-70.

I hope you decide to give it a try. At least give it a week or two, you'll be amazed by how you feel. :)

Well, because it's new to me, I am taking a multi-vitamin supplement. I'm also eating more fruits and vegetables. Apples and bananas get eaten, but so do berries, oranges, grapes, and lately fresh coconut as well as other tree nuts. The only drawback to the fish is its cost in my area. I love sardines too, but the canned…

Thanks, I'll look them up. Though I don't see why people would get so huffy over it. I didn't think I'd be able to do it because I use to LOVE cheese and pasta, but I'm loving how I feel now more.
