The only one of our three that likes to go for longer than two miles. Dachshunds are not meant for long walks due to their long backs and short legs but this guy would go forever if I allowed him.

I would suggest measuring a pair of 46 jeans in the other brand to compare. It won’t be totally accurate but you’d have an idea.

Picture on left was taken July 12 and the one on the right was taken September 3. I am also able to fit into clothes that wouldn’t even go past my hips at the beginning of summer.

Today’s weigh in is 195. Short of my goal but still positive. I did better with my exercise goals than I did with my weight loss as I consistently rode over 50 miles on my biking days. 🚴🏽♀️🚴🏽♀️

I weighed in early this week because tomorrow is my long bicycle ride. My weight is back to 195.4. So far I’ve ridden 72 miles on my longest day. I had an NSV this week as well as weight loss. I am able to fit into a pair of jeans that at the beginning of the summer wouldn’t even go over mid thigh. I wore them all day…

Scale weight up this week—195.4 to 197. I attribute that to muscles needing repair after those tough rides. I’m taking a much needed fun day at King’s Island today. The last weekday they’re open for the season.

^^Don’t stress over TOM, it’s always a tough time Early NSV: I was able to fit into a pair of shorts I couldn’t even get past my hips in early June. Not only did I get them on but they buttoned too. Baby steps.

Rode 30 miles today. They were working on the path so the ranger had to give me a ride around the work area. No way was I riding on US 42; too much traffic!

Today I rode the longest I have ever gone. 72 miles and I shaved 24 minutes off my 100k time. 🚴🏽♀️😁

Check in day: weight 195.4, however, no inches lost. Putting my pictures side by side I seem to look thinner but that could also come from me having better posture. I’m not sure.

My NSV this week may sound weird but we have a small riding mower that barely fits through the front gate. For that reason we push mow the front yard and use the riding mower for the back. Today because of the heat and almost fainting, I decided to finish mowing with the riding mower. Usually I would have to have my…

Scale victory finally! Last week the scale read 201.6 on my weigh in day, today it read 196.6. My snacking is getting a little better but is not completely where I want it to be. For instance: I made Chex Mix the other day and grazed quite a bit yesterday. However, yesterday I also ate more vegetables.

Well, I’m disappointed with today’s weigh in 201 lbs. I couldn’t get accurate measurements this morning. At least we haven’t eaten out this week.

I usually weigh on Sunday mornings so will put that down then. Friday’s are my long riding days. I started out on a 65 mile ride but only made it 43.59. I have ridden a metric century before but today my back was having none of it. 🚴🏽♀️ Have a great day! 🌞

I’ll try this. I’m restarting from the exact same weight I was years ago. Breaking a vertebra really makes it difficult to keep in maintenance. SW (again 🙄) 208 CW 198 Goal by Labor Day—190 Eventually I want to be back to 165.

I do not use biking (clip) shoes or pedals. My toes go numb occasionally so I take my feet off the pedals to shake them. I’ve just never felt the need to buy them. I ride about 60-70 miles a week.

Our garden produces sometimes way too much that we end up giving some away. Our green beans I will eat straight from the vine while picking them. This goes for cherry tomatoes too. Last night we had roasted kohlrabi from our garden and tonight we had cabbage.

I used to post here a lot. My goals are to get more efficient on the bike while adding strength exercises on my non-biking days. 7/01–16.1 miles 7/03–20 miles 7/05–61.48 miles (most ever in one day for me)

I found it hard after turning 50. I had two knee surgeries which have put me behind my goals. Your weight goal is about the same as mine. Keep working at it!
