  • I looked up listing for endocrinologist. I am going to call around and make an appointment. So i can better understand what I need to do. I also started taking my medformin at 7 with dinner. Which I have to say my belly has not been getting up set.

  • It was my PCP that did the bloodwork. And the only information he gave me was absolutely no sugar and no rice potatoes corn and milk. I guess thats why I am so confused with what to eat and what not to eat.

  • Cramemh, Would you be able to help me? If you could sharewhat your day menu would consist of. Right now i have been doing an atkins shake, lunch a salad with 4oz protein, dinner 4oz protein and veggies. Thank you

  • Believe me I wont this and I have been without those items now for about 3 weeks. I requested you as friend because you know and is dealing with the same thing and that makes it a little better for me. To have a buddy with the same issues.

  • All I can say is wow. I am actually happy that I came across your post. I am always making excuses why I can't do things. I was diagnosis with metabolic syndrome which has something to do with my body storing insulin, which later down in line I will be come a diabetic. I do have to take medications that a type 2 diabetic…

  • Yes Sarah I was told by my doctor no white flour,rice,sugar,corn and processed foods. I am not diabetic but I have what you call metabolic syndrome which can turn into diabeties if I don't get it under control and lose some weight. He said I can have brown rices and 100percent whole wheat and sweet potatoes here and there.…
