  • Funny you mention the texture of cooked spinach cuz I love to put it in soup just for that reason!
  • Hi to my Awesome Team! I was able to finish the stair challenge last night at home & also got some cleaning done! I've had some IKEA shelves sitting in my 2nd floor hallway that needed to be put in the basement so I made several trips up & down the 2 flights carrying pieces of shelving . I still had 10 flights to go after…
  • Lesley- I'm so sorry for you & your family's loss, my heart goes out to you! I have to update the spreadsheet for the week. I'm off work this weekend & will make sure I pull my share of fitness numbers! Before & after photos are stunning & so inspirational, Well done!! To think we have the power & control to make such a…
  • My favorite thing to eat is Bryers mint chocolate chip ice cream. Once I start, I can't stop, so I've been substituting Yasso mint chocolate chip Frozen yogurt bars. Only 100calories each. I also love greek yogurt, I eat it topped with fresh stawberries & blackberries. I've been eating the Oikos brand lately, I find it has…
  • I love having to do the stair challenge this week. A coworker & I try to do 6 flights of stairs whenever we work together so this ties right in! I'm surprised to hear so many on our team have a hard time finding stairs to do, I seem to encounter them constantly! I used to avoid them but now I use stairs as an extra fitness…
  • Rose- Sorry about your hip. Hope you find some answers & relief from your Dr appt. Having stairs in your home that you have to go up may get you to meet the challenge without even trying! I know I always need something that's on another level! Btw, I love Louis C.K.!! Ray Ramano has a funny bit where he describes the best…
  • I love thrift stores & get most of my clothes there. The Goodwill stores in my area have great stuff, I end up with nicer brands than if I bought new! I also look for scrubs there but hard to find nice ones unless you're a size small! Maybe someday! :)
  • Isabelle-I'm glad you're feeling it better just take it easy. I'd hate to lose you as a team member, your contributions to posting are motivating & help our team stay strong!
  • I love this recipe sharing part of the challenge! There are so many great ways to eat eggs that I haven't tried yet but I plan to make several of these! Thanks Melodie, great idea!
  • Gayle- Wow, what an accomplishment! Thanks for sharing your photos, it's very inspiring!
  • My recipe is more of a recommendation for a kitchen gadget to cook the egg. It's called a microwave egg muffin cooker & makes a fluffy scrambled egg in the microwave in 60 seconds. You can add any type of veggies or cheese you'd like & its the perfect size for an English muffin or sandwich thins. My favorite way to eat it…
  • I wish MFP had a "Like" button so I could respond to each of your posts as I read them! It's amazing that so many on our team have accomplished such great weight loss, 100 pounds truly is awesome!
  • I agree it would be a fun Team 1 challenge for any of us with a Fitbit! I'm not sure how to friend request you using that link but you can friend request me using my email: cjborkowski62@gmail.com
  • Jazzypdx- the mason jar breakfasts sound really cool, where do you find the recipes?
  • Happy St Patrick's Day! I made corned beef & cabbage last night which turned out great! I made a big batch with plenty for leftovers today. I've been walking daily & somedays get two walks in. I love that the weather is changing, can feel that warmer weather & spring is here! It's been pretty windy but the sun is shining &…
  • The weeks results have to be tabulated by Melodie & are usually posted as an announcement on Thursday or Friday. She'll list the winning teams in points & also which team had the biggest weight loss.
  • Looks like our spreadsheet still needs to be updated. I think Leanne has to do it so hang onto your numbers, I'm sure she's getting to it. I've taken 2 walks today & was very happy with my weight loss this week! Now that I've added more activity I hope to continue seeing more scale and NSV's (jeans & work pants are much…
  • Omg, I can only watch one day!! Don't even want to see what the rest of the week is like!! I'll try my best with this one but my muscles are already aching just thinking about it! :#
  • I like Yoga With Adriene on You Tube. She has a couple beginner videos & many others, everything from yoga for stress to a bedtime routine. The ones I like are slow paced & she explains the poses as you go. Once I get better at it I may check out some others too.
  • Hi all! It's a rainy day so probably won't get to walk today, hopefully I'll get some activity in but I have a lot of paperwork to get done. It might be a good time to start yoga again. I've done it in the past by following You Tube series & I really liked how it strengthened & stretched my muscles. I'll also clean my…
  • Wow, that would be so hard to resist! I give you a lot of credit for keeping your resolve & resisting those temptations! We're all cheering for you here on Team 1 so keep up the good work!
  • That's a great achievement! I've never been a runner but admire those that do run. I even subscribed to a running magazine for awhile & loved reading about it!! Sorry to hear of all the bad weather some of you have been dealing with, glad you're all safe! I've been walking everyday this week. Tuesday I stopped at daughters…
  • I love reading all the team posts, what a varied group we have from so many different locations & climates! Glad we all have the goal of being a strong team & motivating each other! I'm still going strong & getting extra walking time in thanks to my Fitbit groups, I should see a bigger loss on the scale this week! I do…
  • Glad to see how motivated we all are this week! I made the Skinnytaste "naked turkey feta zucchini burgers" & they turned out great. Served them on a bed of fresh spinach which just added to the Greek theme. I'm participating in two Fitbit challenges this week which are getting me to be more active. It's been a real eye…
  • I've been buying Oikos Zero Vanilla Greek yogurt. It has no fat, no added sugar & no artificial sweeteners. I don't know how they do it but it's really good !!
  • Day1 arm done!
  • Accountability challenge: Team 1 Mon- done
  • @RoseTheWarrior- There is a lot to do & keep track of this week! I had to make a list which I posted on my bedroom wall & also on my phone in reminders to keep it all straight. Isabelle broke it all down for us on a previous post & if I knew how to repost I would add it here. Bottom line is try to take it step by step &…
  • I'm excited to get the this challenge started! I bought the big container of Greek olives that my daughter & I were eyeing at Costco last week, now just need some feta cheese. I love the recipes on the Skinnytaste site so I entered "Greek" in their search & so many great options came up. I plan to make the Greek turkey…
  • Hi everyone! My name is Connie. I'm 54 & live in the Chicago area. I was in the Winter challenge & so happy the challenge was restarted for spring. I lost about 10 lbs in the last challenge so still have more to lose. It's coming off slowly but that's alright with me. I've lost the same 30 lbs, never quite got to my goal…
