  • Mm. When I get my mid-afternoon caffeine craving, but feel guilty because I should be drinking green tea, I'll keep this in mind!
  • I had some for breakfast. Mixed two tablespoons of chia seed with about 100ml of almond milk and left it in the fridge overnight to gel up. Voila! Chia pudding for breakfast. Although somehow the fridge door wasn't shut properly last night, so it was still quite liquid this morning. Tasty, though!
  • I went down a shoe size a couple of years ago, after losing a fair bit of weight. It was amazing! I went from feeling like a bit of a giant to being able to buy shoes just about anywhere!
  • I find skimmed milk has about as much taste as water. It seems pointless to me, so I use either semi-skimmed or almond, depending on whether it's for coffee (semi) or porridge/baking (almond).
  • I use sliced avocado in mine. I tried mushing it up and blending with the tuna, but prefer the texture of it in slices. It gives moisture and makes the wrap feel a bit more substantial, too.
  • I try to plan my main meals the day before. That way I know how many calories I have left for drinks and snacks. I try to leave a few hundred calories spare so that I can have a cake if someone offers it to me, or an evening snack.
  • I have difficulty eating or drinking anything first thing. I've usually been up for about an hour before I'll have a drink (generally water or coffee), and it's a while after that before I can face food without feeling nauseous. I love food, but I see little point in forcing myself to eat when I don't want to because it…
  • Maybe some honey or sugar-free jam would help? Or perhaps sprinkle some cinnamon on top of the porridge. As a child, I ate mine with jam mixed in. Now I eat it either plain or with chia seeds (not sweet, but they give it a nutty texture). Almond milk is sweeter than cow's milk, so you could try substituting that, as long…
  • I always promise myself things like McDonalds or Starbucks. I never go. I think sometimes the idea that I will go helps me to eat healthier things, knowing that I have the reward of a burger or a coffee in my future. Then when the time comes, I don't want it. Crazy!
  • I mix a tablespoon of them into my porridge. I find the chia seeds give plain oats a nice nutty flavour, as well as a slightly different texture. They're also good made into a pudding with almond milk and left in the fridge for a couple of hours to gel up a bit. I've read recommendations to sprinkle them on salad, but…
  • I find it really difficult to drink enough water. Usually that's because I have a cup of coffee in my hand, instead. I've got a 1L bottle now, which I try to fill twice a day to get all my daily water intake. The biggest problem I have with drinking water is that it makes me pee like crazy. So if I'm not at home, I find it…
  • Mine bullies me into going for walks with him. When I was doing Weight Watchers, even though he said I didn't need to lose weight, he was supportive of it and always asked 'can you have this?' if he wanted a particular meal. He does insist on having junk in the house, though. Chocolate, scotch eggs, crisps... He's able to…
  • BFBM & NMTZ are the ones I find the hardest, but that's because they're longer. They do have the menu option that allows you to choose which bits you do, though. I'll lend them to you. Hehe.
  • Wow! You look great and very happy. Have a lovely birthday!
