The best thing for me was telling myself to earn my treats BEFORE eating them, rather than telling myself I'd burn them after which never happens! So now if I'm going out for a big meal/night out on a weekend, during the week I'll make sure I save enough calories for it.. And half the time with all the hard work and effort…

I go on holiday on the 14th June and want to lose 5 pounds by then !!! It's exactly a month so my final month I'm upping the ante and need all the motivation I can get (bar the fact I'm going away with the most toned person you've ever seen hahaha)

BUMP I'd like advice on this too.. From experience I do find if I have a protein shake before work it's much easier to wait for 11 for my 'elevenses' than if I have bran flakes or porridge if that helps!

Love this thread, I usually just use it as a jacket potatoe filler, in a salad or as a dip for celery, carrots, red pepper and apples ... but I'm going to have to try some of these other ideas some sound amazing !!

I'm so bad for this, getting into bed and feeling a little hungry so I can't sleep so grabbing a bag of crisps ! I'm going to set my cut off time at 9pm, or 1/2 hr after exercising .. Here's the pattern: SW 159 (before joining MFP when I hit a plateua) CW 150 GW 145 UTG:138 Not sure how accurate that CW is as I weigh in Mondays and had a bad weekend - will update when I weigh myself before circuit later !! Going on Holiday 5/9/12 so if I can do this I could be very close to my UGW by then !

This is a brilliant idea .. However .. I do 'Aqua Running' at my local gym which the trainer tells me burns up to 1400 calories in 45 minutes but I'm not convinced..
