  • They don't work for me. I tend to become obsessive about the "cheat" and go overboard. If I build the treats I want into my daily diet, I obsess less and binge less. They work for some people, though.
  • I love all things Isa Chandra Moskowitz, but it isn't all the healthiest. Her entire book Appetite for Reduction is available free online as a PDF. I have only made two recipes from it so far, but it's pretty solid in terms of flavor and the dishes are reasonably low calorie.
