You probably feel so awesome! I'm so happy for you. Don't listen to what your friends say, especially if they're not in a healthy weight range or don't value fitness. If you want to be a normal weight for your height, do it. You'll be healthier and probably happier. Especially if you get some muscle! Try taking a boot camp…

I just googled it, and apparently they are zero calories because of their high fiber content. It also says that if you get tofu shirataki noodles, they will not be zero calories because of said tofu added, but shoudl be pretty low calorie.

Try couscous! It's easy to prepare and can adapt to various flavor profiles.

Eat more protein. If I drink a ton of water and eat giant salads, I still have a "void" and want to eat more after an hour or so. If I add some protein to every meal, this problem is eliminated. Almonds, egg, chicken, etc. Try it!

Hi PCOS buddy! You've done a great job and look awesome!

I'm the one that called your trainer stupid, sorry for hurting your feelings. But telling someone that you're trying to help get healthy to subject themselves to something that could cause... not just promote but literally CAUSE cancer isn't excactly SMART. So I shouldn't have called them "your stupid trainer," I should…

Google "Tanning Melanoma". Tanning beds cause 170,000 cases of cancer per year. I am also pale, and don't listen to your stupid trainer. If you're pale, tanning will only burn your skin slowly or turn you a gross red color that is not attractive. It will age your skin quickly, and put you at health risk. If you MUST BE NOT…

This thread really grossed me out. Thanks a lot, OP. I can't believe you were serious. Ew.

I usually go all out, but two years ago I was not feeling good the day of but was having a party at my house. I ditched my complicated costume and decided to go as my husband... I threw on some of my his clothes, tucked my hair under one of his ballcaps, clipped on his work namebadge and drew some facial hair on my face…

It's hilarious to me the amount of hatred some people have for organic eating. I can afford to eat local, organic produce, and I choose to eat said produce. Get over it.

It's not something you can self-diagnose. The symptoms could be a result of other problems. Go to a physician.

Your marriage is more important than worrying about if it's universally rude or not. Now that you know it bothers your wife, order a cup of soup or something similar next time. Investing in the happiness of your marriage is better than proving to her that you're right because the internet said so. Also, she should have…

I'm a nerd :( I'll be your friend and be nerdy with you. FYI: David Tennant > All others

Really? I hadn't heard that. I'll have to research it. I definately wouldn't go by what this website estimates over a HRM, that's for sure!

There's a reason they change the plan every year. NEWER! BETTER! FASTER! STRONGERRRR! They have to keep people coming back to try it again. It's a good support group, but they're just selling you a product that is doing the exact same thing as what you can do on this website. If it's worth it to you to have the in person…

There is absolutely no point in logging strengh training exercises on this website. Use a site like www.fitocracy.com instead, it's more centered around logging strength training. For calories, either use a heart rate monitor and enter in the calories burned manually, or under cardio, enter a generic strength training. Be…

They're the same thing. Weight watchers has to present it in a gimmicky way or you'd have no reason to pay 10 dollars for the honor of working hard on your own and letting them weigh you once a week. They convert everything into points so you don't know the real deal, which is less in than out. :)
-
They've done their research and come to their own conclusions, and while if you explain to them why you individually are unable to eat 1200, that doesn't change the fact that they don't, in general, want to have low calorie friends. And that's their right, just like I could refuse to be friends with anyone for whatever…

I don't understand the purpose of this. Why would you want to be friends with someone who doesn't want to be friends with you? There are enough people on this site to find others that are more like minded. Who cares if there's another group of people that doesn't like what you do? It's not about them. It's about you doing…

That's AWESOME! That was my first mini goal as well :) My next one was to lose another 30 pounds (close to your 2nd goal.) I'm going to send a friend request so we can cheer each other on!

It depends on your field and what is considered appropriate I would assume, but I usually wear a cute dress with heels or a skirt/cardigan combo with heels. I look professional, and I am wearing something that fits my personality. You wouldn't catch me in a pants suit outside of an interview, why would I wear one to it?

She just wanted to see results for a workout she happens to like. She never stated she thought lifting weights would make her bulky, she asked if anyone her size had tried it and if she could see their results. I have not tried this particular work out, but if it's what you like and helps you get fit, more power to you! :)

Amazing job! You look fantastic!

I'm a horrible example. I got married in 2009, and planned on losing 50 pounds before the wedding... I gained 5 instead. Oh well. Fixing that now!

My cousin did a physician assisted diet, and she had her eating 100 net carbs or less per day. That's not as extreme as some versions of the same thing, and it worked very well for her. She only had 50 pounds to lose total, and lost it in about six months.
