  • I use only Vidalia or Sweet Peru onions. No tears.
  • I was just at Wal-Mart the other day and they had some exercise matting squares in a package that fit together kind of like a jigsaw puzzle. If I recall, they were affordable and no-slip.
  • I've got Zumba2 also. I enjoy the actual dances, but the belt is annoying. If you're doing individual dances, having to take the controller in and out of the belt between them kinda stalls my momentum. Its also a bit silly waiting before and after the dances while the instructor plays to the "crowd".
  • I'd planned to start tomorrow, but I'll wait a couple days. Anyone else starting can add me for support.
  • I grew up in Houston, so my accent is primarily a Texas drawl. I've lived in east Tennessee for over 20 years now and I swear native Tennesseans speak a whole language all their own.
  • 1. I met my husband when he was my best friend's blind date. He started the date with her and ended it with me (with her blessing). 2. I have a fascination with the psychology of serial killers. 3. I'm a fantastic cook, but a horrible baker. 4. The taste or smell of raspberries makes me sick. 5. I was adopted when I was a…

  • I don't follow the diet. But my favorite snack is chips, so I use the Special K cracker chips as a replacement and I eat the cereal occasionally for breakfast. Next time I need to buy cereal though, I'm going to see if there are lower sodium options available.
  • Princess in that picture looks like Maria de Medeiros when she played Fabienne in Pulp Fiction.
  • I like Halestorm's version of All I Wanna Do (Is Make Love to You)
  • Bruce D i c kinson (Iron Maiden) cover of The Zoo (Scorpions) (edited to change so name showed up) Motorhead cover of Its a Long Way to the Top (AC/DC) Far cover of Pony (Ginuwine) Drowning Pool cover of Rebel Yell (Billy Idol) Hinder cover of Take Me Home Tonight (Eddie Money) I collect cover versions.
  • The first movie I remember seeing as a child will always be my favorite: The Aristocats. I haven't seen it mentioned here yet and not too many others ever seem to remember it.
  • Our momma cat is Callie (calico) From her first litter, we kept two males: Oreo (black/white) and Zoot (all black) She just had a second litter and we have: Flapjack (blonde), Nimrod (black/white), Cinder (all black) and Jersey (white w/ black spots) As soon as the kittens are weaned, she's getting fixed.
  • My camera tripod A couple of empty plastic grocery bags Several McD's happy meal toys that have lived there for several years
  • Not as old-school as some of the previous listed, but one of my faves to listen to now: Regulate - Warren G w/ Nate Dogg
  • I've actually been thinking about my own attitude shifts lately. It seems in my middle-age I've become more sympathetic to people suffering hardships that are situations beyond their control. My patience has become much shorter with people complaining or whining about things that they can control and do something about. (I…
  • A chinese phoenix on my right ankle for the birth of my son and my "re-birth" into a new phase of life: being a mother. I have plans for two more that I haven't finalized the ideas for yet: a memorial tattoo for my dad that passed away a year and a half ago and one as my reward for reaching my weight goal.
  • East Tennessee here, by way of Texas, Florida and Georgia. When I first moved here in 1990, it was difficult to find sweet tea in restaurants, now its fairly common.
  • I haven't read the books, but it was my assumption from the final episode that when Theon's men knocked him out and were going to head home that THEY burned the castle. Its my understanding from history that this was common practice when leaving a held property to prevent others (enemies) from using the property's…
  • I'm addicted to my coffee. I used to drink it from 6am to about 3pm, usually two to three pots a day, but I've slowly worked on cutting that down. I've gone from one pot a day to just two cups each morning in the last 6 months. I'm good at that number, now I'm working on cutting back the amount of creamer (lite, powdered)…
  • In the past, its always been the boobs to first show weight loss. But since I'm now a lot heavier than I've ever been, I put on weight in places that didn't really used to show it. Not sure if it will follow the last in, first out principle or if it will be the boobs first again.
  • Age: 44 Height: 5'2" SW: 228 CW: 223 GW: 150 (to start with, after this, I'll work more on tone instead of attaching goals to scale numbers) Twins, almost twins or anyone looking for mutual support can send me a friend request.
  • I was diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) 3.5 years ago. The symptoms are similar to IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), but the difference is that there is a physical cause that can be pinpointed somewhere in the digestive tract. I've been in remission from flare-ups for about a year and a half. First thing is you…
  • I normally use a "codename" for online activities since I'm pretty careful online about my privacy. I considered this when signing up, but I'm going into this with the intent to be open about myself and honest to myself and to the public about my progress. It just felt right to use my real first name and last initial as a…
  • Mine was just a couple weeks ago. Three things hit me all in the same day like a domino-effect. I was visiting my mother (74 years old and goes to the gym 5 days a week) and we went to the mall to return some things she'd bought. We were walking through the women's clothing and I was seeing all the beautiful clothes I knew…
  • I enjoy all my supernatural series, but the single book I love most is Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (John Berendt).

  • We've got a menagerie of animals: Skipper - blonde Cocker Spaniel TJ - Jack Russell Terrier Cats (just to throw extra names out), we have: Callie - Calico and her kittens, Oreo and Zoot (I'm a Monty Python fan) from her first litter Flapjack, Nimrod, Cinder and Jersey from a litter she just had last month. Goats: Allis…
  • That's exactly what I try to do and its improved my enjoyment of both.

  • I'm an Eric/Jason/Sam fan. I've never been a big fan of the actor they chose for Bill, but he seems to pull off the character well. I think last season's final episode is on tonight so I'm watching it to refresh my memory. The season premier comes on at 9pm here (EST) tomorrow night, but my son will still be awake, so I'll…
