I never used anything but soap on my face to clean it, with the occasional microderm scrub.... but I have not had one zit since LCing. I used to get about 1 every month or two. My hair looks way healthier... and my nails no longer peel! How 'bout it!! Enjoy not having to buy that stuff anymore!

My tri's went down, but everything else increased - but my ratio was good. My total cholesterol has went from 158 to 201... but in a good way!

I notice that when I cheat, I end up binging and craving all the bad foods again. :( So I don't cheat unless I have to - like a really special occasion, or if I am traveling and want to try all the local foods.

I keep a spoon in the cup and stir away before I sip. I also add heavy whipping cream and cinnamon to my coffee everyday. And yeah, slightly coconutty. But I love it :)

I would dive in and go low carb and allow yourself to eat as much low carb food as you want - especially when you feel like eating carbs! It's what I do and I lose weight doing it - and eating around 2000 calories a day! Hang in there - and YES log on, talk to us when you're feeling a carb binge coming on!

YES! My hair is way better looking... and my skin OH MY SKIN! I have not had one zit on my face since starting low carb in June. I actually think I may look younger. Usually when I lose weight my face looks gross, but I think it looks ok this time around. My nails usually peel and they stopped doing that, too!!

Oh wow I can attest! Not only is my brain functioning WAY better... when I get hungry or low on fuel, I start to stutter and can't think straight. FINALLY I know how to tell when I am hungry - the right way!

only eat almonds and pecans. Not peanuts. The two I eat are higher in fiber. I think in the almonds for a 1/4 cup - 2 net carbs and with pecans a tad bit more. Not all nuts are equal. Although I enjoy peanuts, I steer clear of them because of that. And remember - you subtract fiber from total carbs to get net carbs. :)…
