Strax was my favorite character in Episode 1. I loved where he was giving Clara her physical exam. Great. Also, i completely agree with you analysis on this. To a tee i think you have hit the nail on the head.

If you're looking for a crushing book the end of Odd Thomas was pretty crushing. I also really enjoyed the Age of Misrule books (the three originals). They aren't always happy and light doesn't always triumph over darkness. The twist near the end broke my heart.

Nine was my first doctor. I like him. Thought his leaving was the saddest. I liked 10 and 11, but after so many seasons and specials it wasn't hard to let go.

unmmm...he's got the Sonic...he doesn't need a key...unless they're wooden handcuffs. Not sure what i'd take with me, but i'd want to go somewhere there are tons of aliens and tons of fun...

Personally i loved Craig. I wanted to see more episodes with him. I think they dynamic him and the doctor had was great. Also LOVED that the doctor speaks baby. "yes he like that Alfie, but personally he prefers to be called Stormageddon Dark Lord of All."
