My goal is to lose about 20lbs and then eventually about 40-50 total! Hope to eat real foods, learn how to incorporate more veggies. Exercise consistently !

I did my morning yoga and then ran 3 miles after work. I’m getting back into running (a little) and I felt powerful today:)

During yoga class, someone called me (I’m so not the leave your phone on person!!!!) and in the process of stressfully trying to shut it off, I set off the emergency/SOS alarm, go me! I was very unpopular that day!!! 🥺

For me, I think it's a vicious cycle of snacking and perfectionism. Logging calories helps, but sometimes I get stuck on things not being accurate.... Like having food cooked for you and not knowing what's in it precisely. Then I give up and return to snacking / not caring. I also don't like being a calorie-counting…

I used to be a runner and I still like to do it some. But I have some leg/knee issues & pain that get worse with running. I like biking as well, but I've learned that I need to have a balance and look forward to my exercise. So I've kept the biking in on weekends and I've been walking a lot all week.
