I bet it's a defense mechanism so that they can put a public face forward that allows them to not be hurt by the people that don't understand, because they truly aren't happy and really deep down want to be healthy, happy and smaller if that's what takes to make them all of that. Sad.

I'm with the bring a salad group. I would not even bother with picking at a bowl of the chili. I would say that I'm sorry, but I'm not allowed to eat beans on my diet. Nah, I had mono 4 years ago. Made me excruciatingly tired, but alas I really didn't lose any major weight. I did however eat the worm at the bottom of a tequila bottle once in my 20's that made me sick! Dew worms, yeah I think I'll pass. I have never consciously eaten bugs! Ick pooey!
