I doubt you'd have to count it all. Even deep fried food (if fried correctly) have less than 2 tablespoons of oil in them. If I remember that episode of Good Eats correctly, that is.

Okay, I'll try to make it simple lol. You eat 1,200 calories. you burn 200 It's like you only ate 1,000 so 1,000 is your net calories. Does that help at all?

Are you eating at least 1,200 calories a day? I use to eat less than that, not on purpose, just the way it happened and I had the hardest time losing weight. I upped it to what MFP told me and now I'm losing a lb or so a week

First off, remember this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. And secondly, it's only been a month. Don't worry about it. Weight can fluctuate as much as 5 lbs daily. On top of that 2 lbs is probably water retention. How's your sodium intake? Are you drinking your 8 glasses of water?

Candy Cakes and pizza. I use to eat cake for 'brunch' Because I also use to skip breakfast. Oh and like no exercise. :sick:

Anyone have any suggestions for trading out the cottage cheese? I can't stand it :laugh: But, sounds yummy! And huge! 6-9 pancakes?? yum!

Normally, if I go over my calories, I exercise to bring the numbers back in the green. I don't really think it's ok to go under the 1,200 unless a doctor prescribes that to you Eat More = Exercise more Eat less = Eat more lol:laugh:

That number is only an estimate and only based on the calorie intake you had that day. Any other factors, it does not include.

I HATE elevators. It's not a claustrophobia thing, but I cannot stand to go in an elevator. If I am in one, I'm so anxious I hardly care about being polite and letting others on/off first. :I I need to get out

The fact that I'm only drinking water. What's more? I'm starting to want more than my minimum 8 glasses a day! just a few moths ago, I had trouble drinking /one/ bottle!

I actually just read through another topic like this, and the best thing I saw was that it is important to NET at least 1,200. So you eat 1,450 calories, then burn 1,000 you NETTED 450. So you should eat at least 750 more to net 1,200... if I did the math right.

$3 dollars each for 3 lbs weights from walmart. Focus on reps not weight if you don't want to bulk up ^^

2 lbs in one month is about 1/2 pound a week. You're doing great! And losing an inch? I didn't even notice that until my 3rd month. Now if you're sodium is a bit high, some of that could be water weight. Also weight fluctuates a lot from day-to-day Past week I think I went up one, down two, then up another until it even…

I log my foods before or as I'm making it. That way I can decide just how much I eat from there. Hope that helps some? :flowerforyou:
