Depends what you eat. I've been upping my protein intake and avoiding high calorie dense foods and find it very easy to stay around or under my cal maintenance.

I just blend 100g into my morning protein shake. 100g spinach 2 scoops protein powder 1 banana 1 cup strawberries Can't even taste the spinach!

Too much according to mfp? There recommendations are the minimums IMO. I shoot for 1-1.5g of protein per pound of body weight. Some say to do 1g per pound of lean body mass. I find keeping my protein around 190-220g keeps me fuller and allows me to maintain more strength and muscle while cutting calories.

Try changing up your diet (macros) a bit. I see that you're eating a lot of carbs and very little protein. Try reversing those and see what happens. The key here is losing "fat" not weight. You want to preserve as much muscle as possible while losing fat. having a diet insufficient in protein will lead to losing both fat…

I think it's a great way to detox and get a lot of nutrients in your system. I would however, advise getting a good protein source in your diet as well to prevent muscle loss. Good luck with your 2012 goals!

I would just eat your favorite pizza! I don't like depriving myself of my favorite foods, just have them in moderation and continue to do what you've done that has made you successful so far. Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Nutrition Facts For Foods

I think caffeine is the most effective natural substance that will aid in fat burning and energy boosting. It gets a bad rap because it is found in a lot of sodas and energy drinks, but caffeine is not the reason those drinks are unhealthy for you. Try taking caffeine before your workouts or when you really need a pick me…

1. Find a way to stay motivated - Watch inspirational youtube videos, join other fitness sites, surround yourself with people with the same goals, etc...... 2. Make the right choice - Every day you are faced with choices where one will lead you to your goal or farther from it. I always tell myself, "for once in your life,…

Personal trainers are great if you can get one that "actually" tailors to your goals. If you don't want to spend a lot of money though, there are hundreds of websites that offer weight training programs and tutorials on how to do certain exercises. A little research goes along way! Good luck on your 2012 goals!

I would up your protein and increase your resistance training. If you're new to resistance training, you should be able to put on muscle while on a calorie deficit. Just make sure your resistance training is intense and I would try and shoot for 1g of protein per pound of body weight or LM body weight.

At the end of the day, it's all about calories in vs calories expended. When you do choose to burn an excessive amount of calories, you do run the risk of losing more then just fat and may lose a bit of muscle as well. Everybody is different so see what your body reacts to best. From my experience, I would lose significant…

How bad do you want it? Do what ever it takes to achieve your goal. Watch the biggest loser, read fitness articles, hire a personal trainer, etc..... "It is the mind that separates those who fail and those who achieve their goals" -Arnold Schwarzenegger

I admire those who achieve the ripped look because of the amount of dedication and self-discipline one has to have in order to achieve that status.

My family owned a restaurant when I was growing up and I developed bad eating habits. Good luck on your 2012 goals!

Any cardio is good in my opinion. I had great results without any cardio. Once you get your diet in check, calories burned from cardio is just icing on the cake!

I wouldn't worry about the protein, I would actually intake even more, especially if you work out. I take in about 200g of protein a day, 114g over y MFP recommendation. Rule of thumb when it comes to protein is to take in 1g per pound of body weight. As for your fats, you could lower it with cutting out the egg yolks, but…

I would just change things up. Switch your workouts up.. Intensity, types, etc... Also, change up your diet, try increasing protein and reducing carbs. Good Luck!

If it's not part of your normal routine, I would log it.

I don't think going over on carbs or sugar will effect your weight loss, as long as you stay under your daily calorie needs. At the end of the day, it's all about calories in vs calories out. Good luck on your goals!
