I agree. Move on to the next video! When you meet that video again next time, make it a goal to pass up the point where you had to stop!

Here are some of my favorite things for chocolate cravings: 1) Diet hot chocolate 2) Dark chocolate hershey kisses (if you can keep from eating a bunch all at once! I have trouble with that sometimes...) 3) Sugar free fat free pudding 4) Chobani vanilla chocolate chunk yogurt 5) Dymatize chocolate fudge protein powder…

Still keep in mind though that looking for the most "efficient" workout (meaning gaining more strength less time) isn't necessarily the best route for ALL aspects of athletic performance. Another part of athletic performance other than strength is endurance - which requires longer periods of exercise. The functional…

Awesome. That's what I was thinking - I'm happy with that. Thank you so much for your time!

I don't disagree with your efficiency argument. But I do not necessarily agree that it is always more efficient for better athletic performance. Doing heavy deadlifts and squats in the gym would give me bigger and stronger leg muscles, yes - but will it give me the endurance and agility necessary to ride a straight line of…

Rockin' Body is a lot like Zumba. It's fun! There's even a little resistance training thrown in the mix in some of the videos...

Did you use the formula provided in the nutrition guide? Chances are, that will tell you to eat more than 2000 calories....

I have SIGNIFICANTLY better athletic performance snowboarding now that I've completed P90X and a P90X/insanity hybrid. I did these programs solely to improve performance in my winter sports - and I can ride moguls for 4 days straight without getting tired... I agree with you that if you want to see muscle growth and bulk,…

I absolutely LOVE P90X and Insanity. I'm currently doing Asylum. My results can be found here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/873475-p90x-and-insanity-toned-me-up

I'm just double checking to make sure that you can see my photos (on the previous page) :) I'm new to the photo posting thing...but feel free to take your time getting back to me! I know you guys are super busy. Thank you for doing this!

Your diary isn't open :( I honestly don't think you're eating enough...you should be eating at least 1500 calories...probably even more. I had a really hard time losing weight when my calories were that low. What works best for me (which obviously isn't an end all be all) for losing fat is following macros of 40% protein,…

Insanity is a really intense workout, so you're bound to have water weight fluctuations (especially in us girls!!) I wouldn't worry too much about the scale right now and only focus on your measurements. I had my big losses with insanity in the second phase anyhow... Are you following the meal plan? Feel free to FR me if…

Protein powders and bars are always awesome snack options. Some are really delicious. Greek yogurt and cottage cheese are both fantastic sources of protein. If you're not opposed to having meat in your snacks: I also like to make chicken snack wraps. I use a small flatbread with 6 oz of chicken, a little spinach and some…

It's a bummer because I swear these pictures are making my legs look way flabbier than they are. They're pretty solid - no jiggle when I walk or anything, haha. I'm an avid expert level backcountry snowboarder - so they're pretty solid.

Kind of nervous about this but oh well. I'm 5'2", 25 years old, and 120 pounds (ish) Unflexed Front: Unflexed Back: Unflexed side: Flexed front: Flexed back (I can't seem to get the full photo for some reason):

Thank you so much everyone! Your comments mean a lot :) If anyone has any questions about P90X, insanity, diet, motivation, or anything, feel free to FR me! I'd love to motivate each other :D

As far as my understanding goes, the labels on food packaging are for raw meat. Therefore, you should weigh beforehand. I usually weigh the whole package, cook the package, weigh again. I then divide the weight of the cooked meat by the weight of the raw meat and multiply that number by the amount of meat that I logged.…

Thank you everyone!! Don't be scared! I was scared too. I started the program barely being able to do 10 pushups on my knees. It was a HUGE struggle.... But now I can do 40 on my feet with perfect form. Yes, it's crazy. Yes, it hurts. But it gets you SO strong. Hard work and dedication is all it takes! I struggled in the…

I'm at a pretty fantastic level of fitness and I still almost threw up the first couple times I did insanity. It gets better - you get used to it :) I think your stomach just needs to get used to being jostled around like that, haha.

This forum post on beachbody has each video broken down into the amount of time that it is. http://www.teambeachbody.com/connect/message-boards/-/message_boards/message/125790547 Ehhh I'll just copy it: Fit Test: 26 Mins Plyometric Cardio Circuit: 42 Mins Cardio Power & Resistance: 40 Mins Pure Cardio: 39 Mins Cardio Abs:…

I tried to make protein hot chocolate once mixing a scoop of protein in water out of the kettle - but it turned into a lump :( However, my fiance regularly mixes together protein in water with freshly brewed espresso I'd like to know if anyone has had any success with this as well. Maybe past a certain temperature it's a…

I had this problem too and this is what works best for me: 1) I microwave the fruit I'm putting in for ~1 minute so it gets mushy 2) Add 1/2 cup old fashioned oats 3) Add 1 cup of water 4) Microwave for 2 minutes (it takes 2 1/2 for the oats to be at the right consistency in my microwave) 5) Stir in protein powder (for A…

I absolutely love p90x and insanity. They will certainly offer a new challenge if you're looking to step it up a notch. I started with P90X and at first it was BRUTAL. I wasn't sure I could do it. Now, I'm one week away from being my second time through and I'm ready to move on to P90X2!! It honestly has given me by far…

I'm on my last week of a P90X/Insanity hybrid right now, but I'll be starting asylum once the week is up! I'm kind of nervous - but excited!!

I don't know much about body fat scales as I've never owned one but I find it very hard to believe that at a weight of 118.4, even if you are under 5'0", that you would have 34.7% body fat. My recommendation would be to get a pair of calipers and see how those work for you!

I find that drinking the protein powder in water over ice tastes a lot better if you're not doing that already. Also, it may be that you just need a better tasting protein powder! I highly, highly recommend dymatize elite. It's so ridiculously delicious. I find that the chocolate fudge or cafe mocha taste best in water and…

Hmmm, I mean the concept certainly makes sense. Eating slowly does really help decrease your calorie count. Chewing your food more is also scientifically correlated with increased fullness after meals for some reason. I've found that when I eat more slowly and chew more I definitely stay more full for longer (The calorie…
