I didn't start to get close to my goal weight until I paid attention to my macronutrient ratios (%carbs vs. %protein vs. %fat). I lost ~20 pounds by increasing my exercise over the course of a year or two - but now that I'm getting closer to my goal, decreasing my carbs and increasing my protein has been extremely helpful.…

I found that I just didn't like drinking water out of a glass or a water bottle that I had to tilt upward...so I bought a plastic 24 oz water bottle that has a built in straw. It's changed EVERYTHING. I went from drinking NO water to 20+ cups a day!

I'm super active, get tons of exercise and eat very well. I also try to comment on my friends' updates on and off all day. Hooray for the iPhone app! I could use more active friends myself. :) Feel free to add me!

I think you should be okay. If you're hungry - then I think it would be worth eating a small snack, but if you're not - I don't think there's any reason that you need to force calories into yourself. Also, unfortunately, MFP drastically underestimates the number of calories burned for most exercises :-/ I was surprised…

How large are your "medium" sweet potatoes? Can you give me a size in inches or ounces? Around here our sweet potatoes are HUGE so a medium potato is way way bigger than what you would consider "medium" on the west coast haha

You can friend me if you'd like to steal ideas from my diary! I'm currently holding a 30% carb, 20% fat, 50% protein macronutrient ratio - so I'm eating well over 150 g of protein a day with WAY less carbs :)

Nope! It's not you - I gain 2 pounds every single time. It does go away, I promise!! If you drink more water and eat less sodium it helps though :D EDIT: Don't be worried about taking my word for it because of my ticker, haha. I've really lost 22 pounds :)
