I'm on the 5th week currently and about to do my first big run tomorrow. I remember a time when I'd be out of breath climbing the stairs mid-day at work. I used to be so annoyed with myself about that. Obviously that's not a problem anymore. ;)

A pair of Frye boots. My calves are too fat for them now. :(

Is it a fail if I still stayed within my calories? I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans for dinner. And watermelon for dessert. Deeelicious. I went over my carbs and fat though (I wonder why... :P).

My workplace cafeteria has a glorious looking dessert station near the registers. It's always full of fancy restaurant quality desserts (macarons, caneles, profiteroles, cheesecakes, fruit tarts, mousses, panna cotta, 5 layer cakes) and they're all less than $4. I cave occasionally and grab one of the smaller $1 treats,…

I think you'll generally maintain your shape because your shape is based on how your body carries fat deposits. When you lose fat, it tends to be all over, which is why all the journals and blogs out there say that targeted fat burning doesn't work. My 200 lb measurements were 44-35-45 and a 14/16 size. My current 180ish…

5'2" Hips: 43 Thighs: 23.5 Pant Size: 14 (but I'm starting to fit in 12s in a number of brands) Hourglass shape. Wide hips but not a lot of junk in the trunk...which translates to droopy butt in most of my pants. ;)

I'm wearing a shirt that I haven't worn for two years because it was tight in certain places, but I couldn't bear to part with it.

Wow, I just calculated mine and I've had a couple days below my BMR already. BMR: 1577 TDEE: 2444 Cut (15%): 2078 2078 seems like a lot of calories to me. I'm not even sure how I can eat that many calories in a day without putting some thought into it. I guess I need to start incorporating snacks throughout the day.

No guarantees on dropping cup sizes, but a lot of ladies report that they lose volume as they lose weight. I lost about 10-15 pounds over a year-long period out of the blue (before I started seriously exercising) but I didn't notice much of a change in sizes. When I went to get a replacement bra, I went down a cup size...I…

My current fave is a sports bra made by the Anita brand. Freya, Goddess, and Natori also make sports bras for large cup sizes (and smaller bands). I like the Anita bra because the straps curve inward a bit, which gives me a better range of motion in my arms; other bras tend to just cut into my flesh during exercise like…

I usually have the spare calories after I exercise, so drinking those exercise calories back seems like an ok plan to me. I won't punish myself with light beer. I've also gotten into drinking whisky, so an ounce or two of that which I savor slowly is only 100 calories or so.

I'd be ok with it to be honest. There are soooo many cute bras marketed to D cups and under. And you can find them everywhere. It's much harder to find cute bras in a 36G.

An hourglass that carries some extra weight around the middle. I definitely have a defined waist but clothes can make me look like a rectangle.

Cheese?

My workplace's cafeteria has restaurant quality desserts at ridiculously low prices. I do my best to completely ignore that section when I go in there. If the craving really hits, I select the least damaging option...or I grab an apple instead. I also try to keep some tasty but more healthy choices at my desk.

I've been taking the pill for years for medical reasons and I never gained weight on it. However, the first one I was on for a few years definitely shifted how I carry my weight. I started carrying more fat on my upper belly so my hourglass figure is now looking more apple-y. It seems the really low estrogen pills tend to…
