Vegan for 10 years. Need to get back on track with this weight loss business! Having vegan buddies will definitely help keep me motivated. :) feel free to add me.

Almost time to move on to phase two! Very exciting! I don't weigh myself or track measurements anymore (for healthy headspace reasons) but I do feel as though, for lack of better phrasing, that I'm smoothing out. I don't know if that makes sense but I feel less lumpy (lol) and my clothes are fitting better. How is everyone…

I love how you've edited your tracker! That is really great. Brought a smile to my face. :)

Definitely Professional Dieter with Careful Eater mixed in. It's such an eye opening experience for me to be finally aware of my unhealthy tendencies. I put away my scale and have stopped logging. I feel so free!

Yes! I made pumpkin pancakes for my boys and ate with them - something I would not have done before. I am really loving this feeling of normalcy. It's pretty awesome. :)

Ok, workout 4 done! Not as bad as 3 although I hate hollowman.

i am very aware of my triceps, lol. Even felt sore just turning my steering wheel while driving today. Afraid and excited for workout 4 later!

I hope this group stays active too! I can understand wanting to log and calorie count but I have been fighting the urge. I want to start trusting my body and see where this leads me. I reached that point that the authors talk abut where I just cannot go on another diet. I'm almost 38, went on my first diet at 15, and it's…

In the book it's referred to as being in a state of " hyperfocusing". it's temporary and normal as we begin the process of intuitive eating. The authors liken it to learning how to drive- initially you are super aware of the things you need to do to get out of the driveway, such as bucking up, checking mirrors, turning on…

Survived Cardio 1! Intense, but doable. I know it only gets scarier from here on out, but I'm ready! How is everyone calculating calories burned? I don't have a HRM. For workouts 1&2 I logged them as "Circuit Training, general" and lowballed the calories to about 240. Oh, and my chest and arms hurrrrrrt, but it's a good…

Started Monday! So far, so good. Looking forward to the cardio workout today!

Yes, greens and beans for iron... Also blackstrap molasses and raw pumpkin seeds. Grape Nuts cereal has a lot of iron too.

Longtime vegan here (10 years)...haven't been terribly good about tracking but the pounds have crept back up I am looking forward to logging regularly and recommitting. I think having friends on here will help to keep me accountable, so feel free to add me. :)

Vegan for 9 years - feel free to add me. :)

Thank you all so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences! I'm looking for long term sustainable weight loss and I really feel this is the way for me to go. I just have to keep telling the old me that this is not a race and that I need to focus more on the journey rather than the destination. I have such a good…

Absolutely, this is the best way.

Was excited about this (because while grape nuts have 90% daily iron, they're not the tastiest) but multigrain Cheerios only have 45% daily iron. I mean, that's still good though, but I wish it was 100%. Cheerios go down easy!

Thanks!

Grape Nuts cereal, too.

I am so happy for you! It's wonderful that you're out and about and enjoying your life and your family.
